Being good feels good.There are many people who need a helping hand, but get brushed over. Whether it be through donating or just helping out in the community through volunteer work, it feels great to make a difference.How often would you be willing to assist those in a worse position then yourself?

Let's throw in some back story, shall we?

So let's say the year is about 2006. I'm very selfish, I have many desires and little patience. I don't have any friends to share with either, mostly because I never had anyone who was around my age (6 or so) and the people I was friends with only talked to me because they were initially my sibling's friends. Now let's fast-forward to the year of Obama getting into office.

Obama Arc: Parents lost work because of a flood and one of the businesses shutting down. We had no money and eventually got evicted. I never had a choice in what happened, and so I just learned to accept it. Over the next few years, I lost all desires and interests. I never asked for anything and I never accepted anything unless I thought they would be offended if I rejected. Eventually, I managed to find friends through Vizzed. These friends had many desires, and perhaps some of them might have been a little spoiled or selfish as well. Nevertheless, I still gave them all that I managed to acquire, mostly because I never had any use for the stuff. Fast-forward a bit more, my friends ask me what I want -- only for me to be completely unable to answer. I then began to think about what I wanted out of life, be it small possessions or large aspirations. In the end, I found many things I wanted, but never have I taken them for myself instead of for my friends. I still think about what I want, but due to the past I've been pretty much conditioned to giving what I can to my friends.

With that, I can say I am probably the least selfish person I know. A lot will disagree, but probably because I didn't give them something and are selfish themselves. I doubt I'll ever start being selfish again. Unfortunately I still consider what others want before I consider what I want, but I'm working on fixing that. I at least can make some decisions nowadays.

I've donated plenty of Viz to users on this site, to help them acquire many psx items.


I've also repaid and thank my family for what they've done.

You see, my family likes to get snacks and cokes for everyone every now and then.

And you know whenever I get some money and go to the store, I usually buy snacks and food for some of my family members and myself.



You know,  the way I see it is that your family does a lot for you and in retrun I feel like I wanna do more for them.(Even though I can't exactly do that because of me being underaged for Jobs)

I don't know what everyone would tell you.

I tend to take time out of my day to review other people's writings ect. I will help friends out with stuff if they need my skills, I also tend to buy meals for people I'm with or pay small fees should they need a hand.

That's all really.

I'm pretty generous, especially when it comes to money. Just here alone, I donated a ton and always would buy games or gift cards for other members, whether for nothing, or for viz, which doesn't even mean anything lol. IRL, I'm always helping my friends out when they need something.

In principle or practice? I really don't have much of anything to give besides my time, since it's the only thing I have an abundance of. Hypothetically though, if I were in a position to do so, I would be giving away massive amounts of money to anyone and everyone that needed it. The desire to be extremely wealthy is usually the result of human greed, and I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't buy sports cars, expensive food and lots of electronics. However, more than anything else, I want to build massive amounts of wealth so I can help others who are in my current position. I would go to grocery stores and just randomly pay for people's food at checkout, I would donate tons of money to disaster relief, I would donate food and cloths to churches for them to give away... I also have some much larger ideas (that are probably a lot less likely to happen...) like starting a non-profit Internet service provider. And think about it.... Wouldn't it be great if I could rub people who think that big business should be robbed blind the wrong way while making greed look bad at the same time?

I'd say that in principle I'm very generous. I get only a little money every month and for the past two months I've gotten 0€ so there's not much I can lend to others. But if it's about materials I already own, like clothes, games, food, furniture, I'm always willing to share. For instance I have a friend who's about the size I was a couple years ago, so I've given tons of my old clothes to her. My fiance is a monthly donor to various different organizations so I wish to do that in the future as well, as long as I have some money flowing my way. I'd definitely donate blood as well, that's the least everyone can do, but unfortunately I'm not allowed to do that for various reasons. In the future if I'm able to I will also start donating blood.
