I did a quick search and didn't find any threads that were completely about Garfield, so I'm making a thread for this fat orange cat now.

Have ye Vizzedians read or like these comic strips? I remember when I was a kid I would borrow these Garfield comic collections from the library and read them. One time I was able to get so much that I probably spent 2 whole days reading them. Heck, I still enjoy them now, even if I'm more interested in Garfield Minus Garfield since you know it really sheds a new light on the comic :p.

I also saw some of the TV specials, and saw some of that 3D animated The Garfield Show. Never really watched Garfield and Friends. And I've dabbled into some of the games too- some of them sucked, and some were just meh, but I do remember enjoying Garfield's Nightmare for the Nintendo DS.

I loved the Garfield comics. Who doesn't like a character that does as they want,like most cats. Garfield might have a bit of a mean streak,but he means no real harm.

Have you ever read "Garfield Minus Garfield"?

It takes a hilarious comic and makes it even more hilarious.

I grew up on Garfield, as did my mother. It's timeless.

One day, I will share old Garfield books with my children.

Garfield is awesome. I'm not a big comic reader anymore (I used to be obsessed though. I would save every newspaper comic in bags and stuff them in my closet) but I still love Garfield and his strips, shows, and movies. I've never seen anything with him in it that I didn't like, though the movie with superheros in it was close to achieving that.

Anyway, Garfield and Friends was one of my favorite shows growing up! So yes, I am a Garfield lover.

GARFIELD!!!

I made a review of one of his games here, didn't i? Oh well. Garfield is so great in his comics! Too bad i sold almost all of my pockets... I still may have the first pocket somewhere, though... But i just love his comics. In his first pocket, Garfield actually meets his old styled self. And that's all i'll say. Geez, i wonder if Garfield comics are still ongoing...

Question: I don't remember when this was, but i recently saw a picture on Garfield's Facebook page. It had the dog, (forgot his name) Garfield and Jim Davis on it. And it said "Happy Birthday!". Whose birthday am i talking about?

I love Garfeild! The comics are always pretty funny. I always liked them anyway. Then things such as Gerfeif and Garfield Minus Garfield only enhance my enjoyment of the original material, probably a lot more than a sane person should.

I didn't read the comic strips of Garfield but I did watch Garfield and friends and I enjoyed those shows,
the movies were OK..

Thank you so much for reminding us to read more Garfield comics! XD I've always loved Garfield so I'm overjoyed to see so many Garfield fans. A long time ago, I received a very realistic stuffed animal of Garfield that made me wonder about him, so as soon as I was able to, I rushed to find all of the Garfield comics I could get my hands on. lol

Garfield was always one of my favorites. When I was young, not only did I read the strips in newspapers, but I also bought all of the books of comic strips and I loved them so much.
