Okay, so my local grocery store has this program where if you become a part of the Kid's Club (they don't really check if you're a member but I actually am one. I get coupons and a free just-for-me cake on my birthday!), you can get a free cookie when you visit the store. Today, I got a sugar cookie with pink frosting and sprinkles. I didn't mind the pink sprinkles (I'm kinda girly in a way). As the person hands it so me, they say, "Oh, it's pink. I'm sorry.". I just smiled and walked off, eating my cookie. It makes me sad that the person felt the need to say that. What are your thoughts on this?

Or. . . mad. . . as I see you've put in the description. I mean, the guy is just trying to make sure he doesn't offend people! And. . . there are people who would be offended by it so. . . he's just covering all his bases.

I mean. . . really. There are worse things to be sad about than people who are actually aware of the fact that in American culture people generally associate pink with femininity. He was just being polite, don't worry about it.

Why would that put off your emotions?
