Okay, so I'm in the 7th grade and it flat out sucks. We have hours more homework than we did last year, my peers keep talking and making it hard to concentrate, and I'm starting to get B's (My mom won't tolerate that; it's a very strict household). Can anyone help me?????

In all seriousness, all we can do is give you words of encouragement. Unless you're willing to bully some one in to doing your home work for you ( which I don't even think is a real thing, and just some thing you see on TV ), you're pretty much stuck with the work. Just keep your nose to the grind stone, and try your best to find ways to make getting the work done easier. Try listening to music while doing the home work, or talking to your teacher directly about your peers talking too much. If you approach him / her politely saying they are disrupting your ability to learn the material, any half-decent teacher should try and crack down on the problem.

If you can address the other two things I mentioned, the B's problem should also be a lot easier to deal with. Focus on the present, and just get through what you can as it presents itself. If you continue to do the "right" thing / what you're supposed to, then every thing else will fall in to place as you go.

Let me deduce this situation.

You're competing in the Tour de Vizzed, yet, you're complaining about how difficult school is and that you have more homework that requires more time and more attention.

And yet, you ask for a solution here, when the solution is currently in front of you
Naturally you are smart enough to figure out that taking time from the internet would be the best and potentially only option, yet you create a thread asking for help that you'll inevitably ignore since the only option is one that's already been discovered, by you nonetheless.

So this means either this thread is just for post count +, you can't figure it out, or you're not having all that much trouble.

I know I was blunt and realistic, but I'm sure some people can understand that and write it off.

Now, the following response will come in some sort of form like this:

"How dare you suggest you know more about my life than me" to which I would reply with "Maybe you should have explained it a little better, it's not my fault."
or maybe
"Wow, I didn't think of that! I'll try that out! I'll summon the local mods to tell them the problem is resolved."
or perhaps
"I thought of this but I'm trying to win the TDV so lol no"

tl;dr take time away from the internet, it's not important and you should only use it for studying needs until your homework is out of the way. You have to pick two of the following: Education, Social Life, Sleep. Only two. And we all know which two are more important
Hint: it would be Education and Sleep.

Is too much homework a thing? If it is, I would think the state would be all over that since that would be too much homework and possibly ruin family time.
