I was really surprised when I first heard this. A new Half-Life movie along with a Portal movie. There's not many details about it, but they apparently said a trailer for them both would be coming out in a week or two. I'm honestly very excited, because Valve has done absolutely nothing with the Half-Life series for at least NINE YEARS. (2007, when HL2 EP 2 released), so, what do you guys think?

Movies based off video games have never been good (Except for some like Scott Pilgrim in my opinion). So I'm not expecting the movies to be good at all, but hey they could be good so you never know.

Making a live action movie out of an NES game or anime is silly, but taking a game like Half-Life and adapting it into a movie has a whole lot of potential.

Unfortunately, I can't see the movie yet because I still haven't beat Half-Life and I've never played Portal.

I'm very interested in the Portal movie as I'm hoping it'll be good, but I haven't played much of halflife so I don't know about that.
