Page Update Date
Pages now keep track of when they were last
updated. You can see the last time a page was
updated toward the top right of a page where it shows who is on the page. Any time a page gets
updated in almost any way, that info will reflect it. Even when I modify the PHP of a page, that'll usually
update that as well.
Here's an example: I made changes to the Video Game Music Room scr
ipts recently and you can see that the info of it being
updated reflects that as seen here:
https://www.vizzed.com/videogames/music.php
Page Updated on 09-30-16 09:45 AM
Here's another example: gamerforlifeforever recently
updated his profile:
https://www.vizzed.com/user/gamerforlifeforever-234873
When a page is created for the first time, that information will be
updated as well.
So if you make any changes at all to a page that you have admin powers over, it'll basically let others know that the page was
updated. Examples of things which will trigger it include:
-Adding, Editing, Removing or Moving Content
-Altering the page look
-Adding or Removing Staff
-Just about everything
I plan to eventually make it so that a user can "Subscribe" to a page so that they can get a Notification every time a page is
updated that they're subscribed to.
User Updaters Logged
Any time a page is
updated, the user is logged along with the date and time. You can only see the list of users who have
updated a page if you have staff powers over a page. To see this info, click the 'Page Edit' link on a page that you have staff powers over and you'll see the list of users near the button submit buttons.
Even on game pages, when a user goes to edit a game's page, their info will be logged to the game's page (and the game's page date will be
updated also).
