Hello, My question is for anyone who either beaten the game or caught the Pokémon, But is there a trick that you used to catch certain Pokémon, as in Beldum Regirock and other that are in Battle Frontier Cave? Is there somewhere to get more Master balls, or is it luck to catch them. Please let me know if anyone sees this.

Thank you

Always save before entering the area and bring 3 things:

1. A tanky pokemon that counters typing.

2. An excessive number of potions. Strong as you can get them.

3. A variety of pokeballs, 1 quick ball, in everything before B/W you'll want about 30 ultra balls, then Timerballs will become the most effective at turn 30. After B/W this changes to 10 turns.

Beyond that there's no real trick and some people prefer to just reload before the battle until they can catch their favorite legends with a premier ball.

There is no wrong way(aside from fainting the pokemon permanently), just an efficient way.

One of the best things about playing on an emulator is Save States.

Though many consider it more or less cheating, you could always try until you get the Pokemon into the perfect catching position (Low Health + Asleep / other status), and then just create a Save State right before you throw the Pokeball. Then all you have to do is reload that Save State over and over again until the throw is finally successful. You can guarantee a catch of any Pokemon with a single ball this way if done correctly.

Just be sure the Pokemon is where you want them before creating the save state. Some emulators don't support multiple save state slots, so if you save mid-battle, there's no way to exit the battle again without either catching or fainting the Pokemon you're after (unless you're also using local in-game saving as well).

Took me 45 minutes of spamming the Load and A button over and over to catch a Moltres once, so don't get discouraged if it takes awhile lol. Hope this little trick helps

Another helpful tool for catching Pokemon would be this resource. This is what I used to learn the Ins and Outs of knowing exactly what's best for catching Pokemon.

http://www.psypokes.com/lab/capture.php

Another site I know is very popular is also Serebii (I can't remember if it's .com or .net lol).

Happy to help
