In the past, I used to rarely ever make threads. I think the only threads I made were reviews/guides and some random questions that got a decent amount of replies.

Nowadays, I'm trying to increase my thread-making levels because of my quota and it also increases activity on here which is always good.

So how often do you guys make threads, and why? Is it because you just get a random idea for a thread or because you got that quota?

I never have a lot of ideas for threads, and when I do, it's usually just random curiosity. I almost never made threads before the quota because I had no great questions, games or anything else like that and I'm not really as on top of the news as some others. In a way, I think the quota is helping some because it's not making me force threads, but make me just reconsider the ones I already think about instead of blowing them off.

At times or what I do now what I told you before is store my ideas on my phone. So it helps me to remember how many I have created really. I find that the easiest to do so when needed I can put them up whenever I like really.

As long as I have an idea for something, no matter how crazy or bizarre, I go ahead and make the thread. Who knows when can an idea cross my mind, maybe some real life situation or recent event can spawn a good thread.

Admittedly, I'm already scraping the bottom of the barrel and this is only my 4th month, but it's more to just promote activity than anything else. I don't see any of us being demoted if we wind up slowing down on threads as long as we're trying.
