Pokémon Emerald rebirth is a very small rom hack. This actually isn't too much different than the original game. This hack took an hour at most to make, but that doesn't make it a bad thing. Actually, the only things different are the wild Pokémon encounters. The creator also made some areas possible to skip.

GRAPHICS: 10/10. Nothing is different about the graphics. The graphics, like the majority of hacks, are the same as the original game. And the original graphics still hold up well.

SOUND: 10/10. The sound is the exact same as the original game. Nothing wrong with this, the original sounds and music are good enough and don't need to be messed with.

ADDICTIVENSS: 3/10. Simple isn't a bad thing. That's what this hack is. But it's so simple, I'll probably never play it again. This hack only has small changes to which Pokémon you find. That's all this hack really has to offer. It's fun if you want something a bit different from the original Pokémon Emerald, but one play through of it and I've seen everything. I have no reason to come back to this.

STORY: 5/10. He didn't change the story, or any text at all if I recall. Since the story is the same as the original Pokémon Emerald, which I already played, I found myself skipping through all the text. The original story wasn't bad, but being the exact same as the original and nothing else, gives me less reason to come back and play this.

DEPTH: 3/10. Not really any depth for a game called "Rebirth". Like I mentioned, very little changed in this hack. It went on a while like the original Emerald but had nothing really unique about it. Emerald is a decent sized game with a lot to do, but this hack didn't add anything to that.

DIFFICULTY: 2/10. This game is very easy. Actually, it's easier than the original Emerald. As I said, the Pokémon you find are different, and better. The trainer and gym Pokémon are the exact same though. You get better things for a game that's already fairly easy, and it can become a little boring.

OVERALL: 6/10. It's a nice, small hack. I would only recommend this if You're looking to replay Emerald, but want something a bit different. Otherwise, there are other hacks with much more to offer.

Are you sure you played this game properly? I'm going to have to disagree with you on some parts. I have questions to ask. What has not changed in this game from as you saw in emerald? I know for the music and storyline, but there are other things that sure is different in the game I know of. And you said the game is easy did you play the game through properly? Or skipped parts out?

Eniitan : I played through start to finish. The whole game was the same, except he added areas you could skip, but I didn't do that. I also played through a nuzlocke version of the game, which that should have made it harder, but I still got through it easy.

spookyskeleton : Even if it seems that way you didn't include that added areas. In rebirth as you know you can claim your favourite Gen starters as wild, such as bulbasaur, charmander, mudkip, and more. If you didn't know you can also claim legendaries of that are lv 100 in a cave called Legends Cavern you didn't seem to visit or did you? If you explored in Prof birch lab there was two doors behind that lead to another 2 set of legendary pokemon in that game. Did you even see into these sections? in a pokemon game like that, you really shouldn't skip areas that are added so you know the difference of those changes. Its not often I come across someone who does this. So that's why I am asking questions.

Eniitan : I didn't skip these areas...but I have my reasons for not mentioning them. The area behind the lab was impossible to get out of and I had to reset my game. I didn't bother with the Legends Cavern because I didn't want to make the game easier than it already was. I didn't bring this up because I don't want more negatives.

When I mentioned better things being found, I meant the starters.

spookyskeleton : No problem its because I've played this game many times. I had to get to the bottom of it from your point of view. I know not everyone would like the same game you do. But, I wanted to understand more of why you said what you said, and you managed to explain just that. ^-^

Eniitan : Don't get me wrong, I liked playing the game. I even played it for hours straight. It's just with so many hacks out there I don't think this one has anything memorable or special enough for me to come back to it, at least for a good while.

spookyskeleton : I can understand that really I do. I figured as much you would as I said before people will have different opinions on the games, that they play it wouldn't mean they didn't enjoy it. Not unless they actually say and state as of why they didn't enjoy playing the game.
