Ok so I decided to do a thread about parents. We all love our parents one way or another they look after us love us to the best of their ability. Can complain too. And quite a lot if you get what I mean. Now I can understand the complains they do the good ones the ones that helps us to see our wrongs or even to maybe remind us about something we forgot to do. But then.....there are other ones unnecessary ones that they do which could be sometimes or most of the time. For me....its either most of the time or all of the time. Its annoying how much I can take since its not really encouraging at all and if you think that's worse the shouting comes with it. Either when you try to talk you get cut off, and they don't try and allow you too. Or they just discourage you further more from talking to them about anything. This is something parents shouldn't do to their children. Like I wish I can tell my mother everything upon anything. But, the way she complains or yells out of assumption, and judgmental its hard for me too.

And I find that pretty sad. It makes me to talk to the one person who doesn't do that all the time to me, and that would be my brother. My mother wonders why I am so close to him? Because he actually takes the time to listen to what I have to say, and then sort out the problem. My mum does, that but not all the time as she should. I am told my mother is one of the most understanding. To be honest with me some parts within me is having a hard time to believe because of what she normally does. I mean I still love my mother will do forever I just wish she sees it in a way that she should. I mean I have even tried to point her out it worked at times, but then she would go back to the complaining and yelling its more than I can barely stand. So she shuts me down pretty quickly then she expects me to talk to her about anything? Sorry I can't not until she does what she needs to fix. '-'

My mother doesn't complain too often, but when she does it can last for a while and comprise several different subjects, like if she was hiding her complains to unleash them all at once. You know, on a bad day you don't have one single thing going wrong, it's several or all things going wrong, and my mother's complains are the best example. What's more, she makes the complains whenever she feels like it, even if it's 2 AM, which is absolutely lovely.

My father is the worst when it comes to complaining. He can barely not yell when talking casually, so imagine how he goes when complaining. What's more, he complains for a long time, repeating things over and over and getting more upset with each repetition. He also complains for literally everything: when things don't go the way he wants them to go, when things go the way he wants them to go... He's very annoying most of the times, and that's why I'm not close to him and I try to evade him whenever I can. I've inherited his short temper, so the two of us in a heated discussion could end up quite badly.

EX Palen : I totally feel your pain its sad when parents do these kinds of things. But I am always told parents are always parents whether they are wrong or right. All you can do is just endure the argument and then do what needs cheering up for you afterwards. Even when its 2am she complains?.....I mean that dead of the night when she is supposed to be sleeping?......yeah my mum and I tend to butt heads too it would happen most of the time when I try and come across by talking to her. :/

My mom rarely complains. But my dad... He complains A LOT about very minor and stupid things. My dad yells so loud and very often, he's crazy. Then that leads to my mom complaining as well because she can barely handle it.

This is kind of why I always try to avoid my dad, he's just annoying and going crazy.

My parents, mainly my mom, complain a lot. About just everything, their jobs, my grades, the economy, politics, Donald Trump (that one can actually get pretty funny) and my dad mainly complains about how bad Atlanta Sports teams are (which is just so true).

They don't complain for long, maybe 5 minutes at most, but we just have so many better things to do than complain all the time lol. 

Mohammedroxx3 : That's my mum in the flash right there. How your father does it my mother does too from how I was trying to explain by making this thread. I mean I talk to my mum on a scale, but when she complains I just shut down and don't bother to hear. Because its the same dam thing ,and its really tiring. I've done what I can to solve the solution she's not willing to make things work on that. So the best thing I do is ignore, and go to my room on my laptop in peace. '-'

OH MY GOD I SWEAR THIS THREAD WAS MADE FOR ME!

My mom complains about everything lel. You already know most of it, but she'll get on my case about not doing chores, eating too much whatever, she used to complain about me getting fat (which I wasn't. the reason why she though I was getting fat is pretty funny though, but I don't want to say it here xp), and me being on the computer too much. Like srsly she controls my time on here and she still thinks it's too much. It's really annoying honestly. She once said that she was upset that I was playing "adult games". Now before you think the worse, she thinks that "adult games" are games where you can kill/hurt people. And she thinks I'll get violent from that. imo I don't get violent from playing those games, and most of the time they don't even have any blood :p.

My dad isn't as bad, but when he's in a bad mood he can get quite complainy as well :s.

Barathemos : Ah that's good if its for 5 mins. bara my mother doesn't do this for 5 mins. Reason why its such a headache to deal with.....

ZeeTee : I was laughing so much when I saw your post. Like for a full 1 min of laughter. We can relate since my mother is basically like that, as well so I can understand that pain. So its a good thing I came up with this thread idea? Because that's some serious ranting you needed to let off by what I am seeing.
