I always preferred the JPN/PAL one as that was what I grew up with.
My favourite songs are Cosmic Eternity and Stardust Speedway Good Future (^^)
The US one reminds me of a depression tablet when I try to listen to it (-.-)

That said there are some good US tracks too, I think you're hating on it a bit Keiko.
Stardust Speedway Present being good in the US version for instance.

I definitely prefer the JPN/PAL one over the US one. The only theme I like from the US soundtrack is the Palmtree Panic one. Other than that, I much prefer the JPN/PAL soundtrack of Sonic CD.
