Eniitan: For me, the playstations stopped being great platforms at the second, so I do have quite a few favorites...

My top favorite pick--hands down--no contest--is Pac-Man world 3. This was my first Pac-Man adventure, and to this day, I still love the level design, the game characters, and the overall design of the game. I feel that this was the perfect formula of Pac-man and modern games. It has just the right touches of the original pac-man mazes, platforms and puzzles. It also includes a healthy dose of combat, as you find yourself constantly beating the crap out of monsters and robots alike with your bare hands--er--mitten?--hands.

Definitely my second favorite would be The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. Forget puzzles! Just beat up a bunch of monkeys! I'm not exactly sure why the mortal enemies of the dragon tribe are a bunch of apes, but oh well. The game was a lot of fun to play, and it really did not require a lot of thinking. I also enjoyed the world choices, as well as the different types of breath that you acquire, fire (duh!) electric, ice, and earth.

My third favorite would be Namco Museum 50th anniversary. I grew up on arcade and super nintendo, so this game was an instant fave. The best game on this collection is Galaga of '88. This version of galaga has the sweetest graphic and sound effects of any of the galaga games, not to mention the ability to get a
Triple fighter!  This ultimate weapon of galactic destruction makes it so easy to just blast your way through the game, and is just sooooooo cool!

Anyways, those are the current reigning favorites, I might find others later on, but for right now, these are the boss games!

FaithFighter : I don't think I have played those games before. It sounds fun to try spyro games I know I would get into that game, but the other games I don't think I would. They sound fun so it would most likely, that I will look them up but won't really play them.

Have you ever played Ratchet & Clank and it's sequels? Shadow of the colossus? Persona 3 & 4? Those are really great. You should try them.

Ultrajeff : Yes for Ratchet and Clank. I can't play them all since some are on other consoles. As  Shadow of the colossus I have seen it, but I don't think its the game for me sadly. I have watched the gameplay for the game to see if I will be able to like playing the game. As for Persona 3, and 4 I never played them before I don't know if I will play the game. Thank you for kindly suggesting these games.

Here`s my PS2 favorites:

Flatout 2 - The best racing game I ever played, especially if play with friends. Interesting tracks, good selection of vehicles, challenging gameplay, destructible environment and cars and the right music. I really love this game, have alot of fun playing it.

Tenchu. Fatal shadows - As I mentioned in another thread, I like backstabbing baddies from the bushes and Tenchu just the right game for that. Yet again it`s doubles the fun if played in company.

Phantom brave - I like TRPG`s and that one is very nice: nice music, nice graphics, acceptable difficulty, not so complicated gameplay as in Disgaea or Makai kingdom and good storyline (you don`t need to save the world for a change).

Crimson tears - Pretty addictive beat 'em up with RPG elements and good set of weapons and combo-moves. Can`t explain, but this game relaxing me somehow.

There is more good games that I like, but listed above are best of the best for me.

PlayStation 2 is the console I still have and play. I never bought anything after it because I don't need anything after it. PS1 games are good for it and I like my selection.

Final Fantasy X is up there as a great game to play. I like it, I love the story, I love the music, the combat system is good and it was fun to play through.

My favorite is a mix between NCAA 2008, Starwars Battlefront 2, and Hitman Blood Money. I obviously like the war games and the stealth games and I have to throw the sports in there as well.

I generally cycle through those three games with a few others on tap. During the fall, I play football. Winter and early spring is the stealth and quiet Hitman, and spring and summer, if I find myself inside, I go with the melee that is StarWars Battlefront.

Amitaliri : Oh wow....this is like the first what you have listed I haven't played any of those games. They sound interesting so I might take a crack at one of them. Thanks for listing yours its not often I see someone post games that I haven't come across. There are some people who do, but it seems the ones you have listed are rare ones. ^-^

Ghostbear1111 : Yep know about final fantasy 10. Glad to know you liked everything about it. The other games you have listed I haven't played or most likely wouldn't. Hitman blood money sounds interesting so I'll look that game up.

After years of research, I have decided that there are quite literally an endless amount of great games for the PS2.

Gah! I just looked at my list again and I can't believe I forgot The Hobbit! I don't even like Lord of The Rings, but The Hobbit was one of the only games I ever played through multiple times without it being for trophies.

Also Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 was my favorite probably. I'm surprised I didn't list that one before.

And The Bouncer was good, but not a favorite.
