What's your favorite Video Game Soundtrack? For me, it's either Batman: Arkham City or Undertale.
The Arkham City soundtrack brings back many memories of when I first played through the game.
Undertale's music is just simply fantastic.

Like sonic the hedgehog, sonic the hedgehog 2, streets of rage 1,2 and 3, paper boy on sms, gitaroo man, sonic heroes, final fantasy 7,8, 9, 10, 10-2, crash bandicoot 2 cortex strikes back kingdom hearts, kingdom hearts 2 and etc I'm not going to list any more than that sadly I have a lot more to list. So I decided to like list the few I needed to list.

My favorite video game soundtrack definitely belongs to Chrono Trigger. It's my favorite video game of all time for a reason. One of the big reasons why that game's so memorable is because of how amazing the entire game's soundtrack is. In most other games, there always seems to be a few themes in video games that I don't really care for, but in Chrono Trigger, all of the music is incredible.

I can listen to the soundtrack to Medal of Honor Frontline in its entirety without any question. The music was haunting, motivating, and set the gold standard for war game sound tracks back in the day. Each level and map had a feel to it, whether you're sneaking through a manor house at night, running and gunning in open fields dodging sniper fire, ambushing German soldiers from machine gun nests, or fighting the second World War in the European Theater, and the music matched.

It's a grand score, professionally done, with wonderful singing, fantastic music, and it doesn't get old. It paints a picture of how I imagine the emotional experience of World War II to be, summarized with music, graphics, and an auditory experience unrivaled by other games.

This has turned into my review of Medal of Honor: Frontline.

Carry on.

My favorite game sound track as a whole would definitely have to be Final Fantasy 13. I loved everything the audio had to offer, from the instrumentals to the lyrics. It's amazing in every way.

Sonic CD - Japan/Europe version (^o^)

The US version sounds like to me noise and no soul... the JP/PAL has life (^^)
And also, the best songs in the game:

Cosmic Eternity - Believe in Yourself
Stardust Speedway - Good Future

You know, I have a forum dedicated to soundtracks, especially video game ones: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/forum.php?id=87

Anyway my all-time favorite soundtrack is still Final Fantasy VIII. Its stellar contrast with the heavily synthed Final Fantasy VII was such that I am still in AWE before that game. From Liberi Fatali in the introductory animation to the final boss battle, from the 1960s-like Chocobo theme to the jazzy Shuffle or Boogie, and even to the piano tracks in subsequent "remixes", this is still the best.

gamerforlifeforever : The soundtrack indeed has one of the best "major boss" battle theme, along with an excellent battle theme. Unfortunately I find that too many tracks get lost in useless arrangements like the forest of Lavos' themes.

I would say my favorites are the Eternal Sonata, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, and Musashi: Samurai Legend soundtracks.  Especially Eternal Sonata.

One great soundtrack I'm listening to right now is of The Sims. The original, from the year 2000. It's so soothing.... and very nostalgic. I remember I once streamed the entire soundtrack of The Sims out of the speakers while my grandparents were over. They obviously had no idea where it was from, but they loved it so much. It's hard to imagine a video game soundtrack who can make anyone listen to it with pleasure.
