A few new features added to the search engine in the RGR:

1. When you start to type in a game in the search box, it'll drop down game names related to what you're searching for to help you find exactly what you're looking for.
(This is completely AJAX and the games loaded are being loaded from an file on the server which means no database strain and the game names list gets updated once a week by a script I created)

2. The search results now return exactly what you're searching for first and than game names that contain at least 1 of the words in your search query (they come up secondly).
Example: lets say I search for 'Pokemon red', well all games that have 'Pokemon Red' in their title appear first, than all games that have 'Pokemon' or 'red' in their title appear next.

I'm sure most of you have witnessed these new changes in action but if not, try them out.

This is very nifty. It's always great to know if a game exists on a console AND on the RGR before actually searching.

I don't know anything about ajax but for security purposes its probably better it wasn't being pulled from database.

I got one idea, would it be possible to put the favicons next to each item to tell what system its for? Would be kinda neat but not really important.

JigSaw: Not a bad idea, I'll look into it. Sounds like a lot of work but if I can get it accomplished it a reasonable amount of time, than I'll consider it.

I just realized that this feature doesn't work in Internet Explorer, so I'll be adding IE compatibility to it soon.

Ok I added IE support and also made it so that it doesn't automatically select the top result which means, you can press enter now without any problems. I made this change to both the RGR and any place where the usernames get auto populated.

Ok I just fixed it so that it doesn't show duplicate game names. Like "Mortal Kombat" is for multiple systems so it appeared multiple times before, now it just appears once.
