Many years ago,the world was terrible and dreadful. Covered in darkness,it was lifeless. The creator,(Mother of life) then plant a seed in earth. It grew fast and become 'The divine tree'. It had many fruits and each fruit was a life,then dropped on ground,becoming various of species and creatures. It was the first life form on earth.There are 107 creatures given life by the divine tree but only 5 species is strong enough to rule the world.
          The main species includes Gigantos, Minitos, Dragons, Humans and Winglies. The gigantos is very big in size and strong,so strong that most physical effects could hurt them. however they are simple minded creature and vulnerable to magical effect. Minitos is very similar to Gigantos,only smaller but they are very fast. Dragons,a very powerful creatures. Their attacks and life overwhelm others but less intelligence. Winglies,similar to human but they had wings and able to cast magical power.
          Human, very high intelligence.Human gathered and fight against other species and gain control of the world. A very special human called 'Dragoon',under the lead of Holy Imperial Gloriano (emperor Diaz) has the abilites to control dragons. They are leaders of human beings.
          Years before human rule the world, (about 11,000 years before the game begin) the Winglies is the ruler of the world. With their intelligence and magical power they are the most perfect race at the time. The winglies built many magical cities to rule other species in the world. Each city has it own function,a great architectures that human yet to accomplish.
          The great war between the most two power creatures at the time,Winglies and Humans. A big war called Dragon campaign happened in Capital Vellweb. One of the Dragon knights, Red-eyed Dragoon Zieg cast spells and killed Winglies leader, Melbu Frahma and led humans to victory. After the war,the Dragoons vanished. The only survivor,Dragoon Rose witnessed Zieg was turned into stone by the curse of Melbu Frahma. The rest of the Winglies,fled and hidden over the world since then.
          11,000 years later,the present. A small village of Serdio was destroyed by Sandora  soldiers lead by Fruegel. A nearby villager named Dart ( main protagonist) who is hunting in the forest come to see what is happening. He was attacked but he was saved by a female warrior happen to passing by. A survivor from the village tells Dart that Shana,Dart's childhood friend has been taken away. He decides to save her and headed to Helena Prison,where Shana is held.
          With handful of information,Dart able to gain access into the prison. I the prison he met a warrior named Lavitz,a prisoner who is trying to escape. He joined Dart to help him find the girl. Eventually they found Shana and escaped to the nearest prairie in Serdio. While hiding from Helena prison guards,they tell each other stories. Dart was a survivor from a accident in Neet. His parents was killed by a Black monster and all he has left was a memento from his father,a red shining stone. Dart and Shana followed Lavitz to the Indel capital in Bale to report everything to king Albert. Dart was hoping he could get any information about the Black dragon.
          Lavitz is a very faithful friend of king Albert and is welcomed by the people of Indel Castle. After explaining the situation,Lavitz was sent to town of hoax to help Eighth knighthood defend from Sandora armies. This was is not just town of hoax but it affect everyone,Dart and Shana insist to join them in battle. The next day they get to Hoax and immediately given a position,Dart and Lavitz as a night guard while Shana as a back suppoerter.
          Night falls and Sandora armies attacked. Kongol, a Gigantos was sent by the Sandora killed many soldiers. A fierce battle between kongol and Dart party. With great power and stamina,kongol easily knock down Dart. When kongol step up to make his finish blow,a black wing creature appear. With a sword on the creature she knock kongol down then she give the sword to Dart and says 'Dragoon spirit of the red eyed dragon,wake up'! The stone of Dart's father begins to shine and turns him into a strange knight in red armor and big wings. After shooting kongol away with his new power,the black creature reveal herself. She is the passing warrior who saved Dart back in the village. She introduce herself as Rose,a traveler. she also tell Dart that his shining stone is the spirit of the red eyed dragoon and it just accepted him as a new owner.
          Accepting Rose as a new team member,they march to the next stronghold, Marshland. Another place of knights of Basil. however they were too late and all the soldier was killed by Sandora armies. Some of them were killed by poison of a dragon in which Rose believe it must be a Green Tusked Dragon. They decided to find the truth and went pass volcano Villude,nest of Dragon.
          When getting near to the nest,Shana feel something strange but she hides from others. here they find out about the green tusked dragon. It has a controller behind it and Lavitz recognized him,he was his father best friend,Greham. Greham admited he kill his father and gain dragoon spirit of the jade dragon. Greham attacked Dart's party with his Green tusked Dragon. Lavitz proves the strength of his father,with the spear on his hand he defeats greham and his dragon. Lavitz obtain the dragoon spirit and become the new Jade dragon owner.
          At time time,Shana faint and they bring her to Lohan,a nearest town. She was poisoned by the green dragon and only Dragoni plant could save her. But this plant is only a legend,still Dart insist to find the plant for Shana. They go to Shrine of Shirley for more information. A strange bandit named Drake attacked them upon their arrival at the shrine. Then the soul of the shrine come to help and stop Drake. The soul told them she doesnt have any Dragoni and reveal she was the white silver dragoon died in 11,000 years ago. Now she could give this dragon spirit to a new owner but they must accept her challange. defeating the soul,the dragon spirit heals Shana and she become the new owner of white silver dragon.
          After returning to Lavitz place,king Albert was captured and held captive in Helena prison. They immediately depart to Helena prison to save the king. they fought a battle and a mysterious in black hood thrusts a sword into Lavitz heart while Lavitz in Dragoon form. A weapon could pierce Dragoon armor. Its too late to save Lavitz and his dragoon spirit flies to Albert. Lavitz died because of him so the abandon his king position temporarily to join Dart's party.
         

This isn't a game review. It's a summary of a game's story. (btw, you aren't supposed to spoil the whole storyline for a video game). If you plan to make anymore of these video game story threads, then don't post them in game reviews. Anyways, I talked about it with Eirinn (the other review mod), and we decided that this should be moved to the video games forum.

Man this is one of my favorite PlayStation games of all time!

This is a really great game to play. Its a shame that it didn't get the popularity that final fantasy 7, 8 and 9 had. Since it wasn't a well know game towards most people. But the people who did play it got to experience a different kind of gampeplay. The gameplay for this game is completely different to final fantasy games that was on the ps1.
