I've heard about this before, but I didn't post about it until now for some reason. I want to know everyone's thoughts on this. Berzerk is apparently the first video game to coincide with player deaths. In January 1981, Jeff Dailey, aged 19, posted his high score in the top ten list. Seconds after the game was finished, he died of a heart attack. Now, it wouldn't be as strange or interesting if this was the only case. One year later, in 1982, Peter Burkowski, aged 18, also posted his high-score into the top 10 list. Guess what? Seconds after the game ended, he died of a heart attack. What is this, Death Note? (Heh, reference.)

But yeah, it really is strange. To me, it seems unlikely to be a coincidence. Most people around that age don't suffer from heart attacks. But both of them did seconds after posting their high scores. Stuff like this really interests me, so I wanted to post about it. Your thoughts?

And if this is true, it's probably just coincidence. Very convincing coincidence but eh. As you can see, I'm not into this voodoo stuff, but I probably won't play this game anytime soon because I'm too lazy too :p

LunarDarkness2 : I  also remember hearing about this same thing it,s pretty weird how something like this could happen to 3 people who all happened to be playing the same game I used to own an ATARI and one of the games I had was Berzerk I bought the game at a flea market but anytime I made a new high score I never had anything strange happen to me
