Overall 10/10
This is one best Nintendo 64 games I used to play when I was a kid I remember when used this game on 3 or 4 players on the Nintendo 64 with my brother, cousins and my friends on combat simulator my favorite place was the fortresses with the red, blue, yellow and green bases in it we would use the golden magnum against each other every time we got shot by the golden magnum we will die after a one hit shot and my favorite weapon was the laptop gun because I will fill it up with ammo and use secondary mode and throw it in a very high place and eventually I kill someone and score points and will I am playing by myself I would turn on the cheat codes for infinite ammo and invincibility and go against dark sims the hardest Sims in the game I still play this game to this day. .
Graphics 10/10
This game has great graphics for a Nintendo 64 game that was released in 2000 especially in solo mode the levels look more detailed especially with the expansion pak installed the extra 4mb of ram ..
Sound 10/10
This game has great sound my favorite soundtrack in the game is alien conflict It brings memories when I first played it in 2001 on my Nintendo 64 the solo levels have great music I like the air force music the best and the firing range is one of the best music in the game ..
Addictiveness 9.5/10
I would love to play this game on the original Nintendo 64 console because it so fun to play I usually play on solo mode to try to beat the game perfect agent with 5 objectives and the enemies are more harder once means I die faster every time I get shot on perfect agent and usually I beat the entire game I would use cheat codes in solo mode and I would use the super dragon and use the secondary mode as grande launcher and start blowing up enemies and sometimes I would blow out some lights in some levels light the first level and I would go the air force level with invincibility code and go fight with Trent he has a shield on him and he has a golden magnum I would died if didn't have the invincibility cheat on I would go hide all over the place in the plane I would go the bathroom and open the close the door every time he opens it I would throw a laptop gun all over the place and throw a bunch of remote mines and proximity mines at him and still would never die I will be playing this game again if I ever get another copy for my Nintendo 64 I Still need another expansion pak I currently have this game on xbox live but it doesn't feel the same as the original Nintendo 64 version. .
Story 9.5/10
This game has grwat story to it in solo mode I like the story with Elvis in Area 51 rescue and escape and the air base to listen to Blonde and Trent and the crash site is where Trent gets kill by Blonde when he turned into a monster .. Depth 4/10
This game doesn't feel that long to me to beat u could beat this game on agent in 30 mins and 1 hour on special agent and 2 hours on perfect agent I could beat the first Level in 30 seconds on agent The game is pretty short to beat .
Difficulty 1.5/10
This game is so easy to beat but it can be hard on perfect agent the first level is the easiest level and the Chicago level is the second easiest level in the game I could beat it in less than 2 mins on perfect agent and some cheat codes can be hard to get especially on perfect agent the hardest one was the area 51 rescue on perfect agent in 7 mins and 59 seconds to play as Elvis on solo mode I managed to get it on xbox live but not on the original version ..but this is a easy game overall I have played it since 2001 I found it more easier the more I play it ..

Dude, Perfect Dark is one of my favorite games of all time! I have the same memories as you playing it, and boy, we had a blast. I agree with you, it's an absolute classic.

Now, while it is a great game, this isn't really a review. What I mean is that, this is more of you harping on how much you love the game, how you spent your time in the game, and what you personally just like doing. That's not a review, man. A review is picking apart a game and telling why it's good, why
everyone (not just you) would like it, and why it's worth it. For example, on 'Addictiveness', you say it's very addicting because it's fun. Then you go on and tell a story about how you used to play. Instead, tell us
why it's fun. What makes the game suck you in? How can we enjoy those times you had? Basically, you have to go really in depth and not tell personal stories. Otherwise, it's a biased, untrustworthy review.

Also, it's a little bit hard to read, too. Try to break up the sections and use the bolding, italics, and underlining to make it more neat.

However, this is your first review, right? I think, for a first, you did a good job and you're on the right track. The formatting is what most of our 'senior' review writers use and you do get the concept of how to rate it. Now try and incorporate what I told you to make it better.

Keep at it and you could become one of our best review writers, man!

Jesse Powell : I agree with your whole review except for the Difficulty. Yes, on agent some of the levels are very easy, but on Perfect Agent some of them take a lot of attempts (especially the last few, the enemies are so tough and you die so quickly). That combined with playing on an Original N64 controller made playing a First Person Shooter very difficult (although we all managed back in the day).

I remember getting this the day it came out, after so much Goldeneye it was brilliant seeing a completely original game by Rareware. The single player story, voice acting, unique music on each level was all stellar. I wish I had an X-box so I could play the remastered version, it looks pretty good
