.....seriously I can't say anything else besides those words above for description and title? JUST what the heck have I done wrong lately to be treated this way??? Have already seen the pet thread from before and didn't think much else was gonna happen to hurt/make things harder for me. But guess the "pain" gods from above decided that my time was not over there and have forced me into literally submission. As when was waking up this morning and driving around in U-HAUL to get a matress over from one of my associates at work that she wanted to give away, to my brother's house a few areas away. We did manage to get everything neat and tidy inside but did end up bashing my left hand when lifting down near front porch...but ohhhhh if only that was the most of my pain to come I wouldn't be sending this out to anyone since that's "Child's play" for pain if gonna be honest.

WHAT DID MAKE MY MIND BURN LIKE THE HELLS OF INFERNO!!! Is the fact that when finally got back home and was gonna go out to wal-mart to get lunch and stuff for work ready....the moment I got ready to hop into the car...my knee cap dislocated one me for the 4th, 5th, I don't even know how many dang times now. Soooooo..had to go to urgent care and get that taken care of today....now because of it as well am not sure if can even make into work tomorrow or throughout most of the week. (are looking into getting wheelchair since crutches won't work for me in a crowded office setting) Now I'm just in a leg protector/pressure thing at the house on the couch...know am gonna need surgery but not sure when and MOST likely physical therapy after that. These next few weeks (or possibly a month or so) aren't gonna be pretty.

And may I just restate for the matter.....WHAT THE HECK HAVE I DONE WRONG/WHOM DID I PISS OFF TO HAVE THIS MUCH HAPPEN???? Know should be calmer about this and am usually not like this online but this is just infuriating to me and wish didn't have to worry about this crud...Anyone out here that wants to get a hold of me, you probably won't have as great of a chance to now and will try to respond to anyone when can but...could be a while now before I can be back normally.

So I guess....this previously emotionally broken hedgehog and now physically broken hedgehog...will have to see you again later on. *sighs and angrily throws chili dog across room at picture of bed*

UPDATE: Title of this continues to live up to its name, as seen before my leg injury was a pain in the but for not only me on here but for work as well. If wasn't enough of a pain...I have another update now...I apparently had a seizure a while ago when on my computer. Woke up as had people from hospital come in so guess were getting ready to go somewhere or was talking to my mother first. But needless to say...now I'm probably gonna have to go through several things after this incident (since had been 4 or 5 years since last had seizure) before today.

*sighs* hoping things may finally get better.

2nd UPDATE: Found out that I'm going in for an MRI on tuesday at 7pm to see whether need normal surgery for knee cap or if there's a piece of cartilage slide underneath the knee like with my left leg. Hoping if does occur that I won't have to be gone from actual job and vizzed work for while like before. :/ Have to see how things go but will try to keep anyone updated on here.

3RD UPDATE: Alright, well my first analysis like I thought when first posted this thread was correct. I'm gonna need surgery on the right leg now as it's apparently left shards of bone inside my knee cap when they had to pop it back in place so...need to get that taken out as otherwise may never really heal or could cause even MORE severe issues to pop up later on. Had the appt today to discuss the MRI (what said above) and learned that the earlier date for surgery will be ""NEXT MONDAY"" on the 20th, which is better than a month or so later like you'd hear from most doctors. Talked about having exercises and what not which means...probably AM gonna have physical therapy for sure....and boy did I evvvvveer love that so dearly. Don't even know HOW that'll work with my schedule for work now? I can't miss much more time from work since will be missing 2 weeks now (not including work holidays coming up) since am told not to go to work for 4 days or so after surgery which is next Tue-Fri and if the appt is on monday...won't be going to work then.

*Sighs* May I reiterate...what have I done wrong lately/whom have I offended for this to happen? Will give proper update after the surgery to let know what happens and when may be able to spend more time on here again. (sucks since was just getting back into swing of things) Doc said it will be several weeks to a month or so before can do things mostly normally again, and even several months before is completely back to normal. Will see how things go but I'm seriously considering a name change from Uncle Sonic to Grandpa Sonic, as I'm not even 20 yet and I'm already a broken old man in body terms.

4TH UPDATE: Well...made it through surgery fine and "know" it "will" help me out in a long run and would've uploaded this message yesterday night. Had I not been in such pain and continued agony it would've been up sooner. Know the pain in gonna help me in long run get better bla bla, but honestly this is just too frustrating for me to even think straight :/ I CAN'T EVEN USE THE RESTROOM PROPERLY ANYMORE!!! I'm sick of it!! Already is pain even just getting up to go over there but when have to wipe down the floor after cause literally have no control anymore. I just AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRGGGH!!!!!! I wanna just amputate this leg right now that's how rage-filled am. Know am gonna find out if the therapy is gonna be on fridays or different days of week, still don't see how they expect me to do these home exercises when just turning my leg feels like could tear the stitching's up.

*sighs heavily* swear a ragdoll can be more independent than myself right now...could also miss another week of work after this one which'll just be lovveeellyy V.V. When can't even sleep, use "facilities", exercise properly, ANNDDD the pain medicine ACTUALLY makes me hurt WORSE than without taking it and/or causes me to have to made "facility trips" far more often. what the heck do they expect me to accomplish like this?


Wish I could be brighter for you all and tone down my attitude, AGAIN I know it's for the best but this is just getting unbearable at times. Sorry don't have better news for you all and wish could be on here doing more work for positions and just the site in general....see ya'll sometime soon...

sonicthehedgehog57 : checking in to say apparently am having to take another month off for my job since leg still hasn't healed and is taking FAAARRRRRRR longer than the left leg did to re-coop. (as am still limping to get around and can't lift leg when laying down, have to use other leg to lift it up)

Sucks because really wanted to get back to work as already feel awful about having missed 2 weeks beforehand. Don't feel like am much of an "employee" now since haven't been there much :/ also feel bad for my supervisor because I was most trained person she had and now most of other temps have left again for various reasons....we had all new people the last time I was there. So don't know if those people are gone/moved as well *Sighs* love how before was person that never really missed work and now it's like...am I ever coming back?? I feel same way on here :/ wouldn't be surprised if either side let me go and can't exactly blame them. Jesus, that's horrible. Having to spend more than a day in the hospital already sounds like hell to me, to be perfectly honest. It sucks that you can't really do your job and help out at work or home all that much, but maybe this is just giving you time to take it easy. Maybe the universe isn't punishing you, per se, it might just be telling you to take it easy for a little bit, albeit painfully. Nobody blames you, or should blame you for not being able to do anything because you broke a ton of bones in your body. You seem very dedicated to helping people out, whether that's here, at your job, at your house, or otherwise. It should be obvious to the people around you that you're doing as much as you possibly can at the moment, and I can't see why anyone would want to let someone with that much work ethic go. While it's frustrating, you should take it easy... It's high time for you to take a break from all of this work. Let yourself be lazy for a little bit. Play and beat a few video games, or something.

I'm not sure Sonic can go fast anymore.
It all seriousness though that really sucks, I know what extreme pain feels like, but I've never needed surgery for my problems.
How does it feel to just have your leg suddenly dislocate? Sorry if it's rude to ask, but the concept is weird to me.

pennylessz : *gives 10 winrar points for pun* Yeah...it really does and with how many times has happened and "when" has happened hasn't been fun either way :/. I've had a looottt of surgery done just besides this (had a thread last year about a tumor surgery so...there's that)

Not rude at all and not sure how to really describe it but.....basically you know that feeling you get when your hand or leg falls asleep? You have no real control over it and feels like may slip and fall or what not? Well mix that with that pain feels like you get a muscle cramp in your toes/foot/leg wherever and that's basically what you have. Like said in thread, I was trying to get into car seat and it dislocated. I basically lost ALL control and balance at that point and was hanging onto car seat and door to hold self up. It's really like losing all control of that specific limb and having INTENSE pain all around. Afterward when on crutches or trying to move period feels like you have a bolt nail impaled through your leg or are walking on burning coals cause of how your leg isn't used to the waist and shape of knee cap afterwards since has been pushed back into place by paramedics. Your knee becomes really swollen and for some reason this leg is taking a lot longer than left one did. (left = 3 days-1 week at most before was back to normal/swelling had gone down a ton, Right = 3 weeks with swollen and still limping around)

sonicthehedgehog57 : Erick I do hope you are resting when you can and properly with that leg. Has there been any progress as of late with the leg? Is it still painful? I needed to post here to see how you are doing. The leg may take weeks or month to recover so be careful and not to make sure you are not doing any heavy work which could as you would know will further damage the leg

Eniitan : am definitely healing as like said am not on crutches any longer and can mostly walk around though with a limb but still better than before where could only walk 5min at most. Still have a harder time standing up still than do walking but is getting better. The swelling has gone down a bit but you can still tell it's larger than the left knee cap as can basically see bone and what not with the left and just looks like big slab on the right knee still. Can have pain at time when turning around or like said standing for long periods of time, also some occasional shocks of pains out of nowhere but am getting tiniest amounts of better with each day. Just hoping can get better soon as know like you say should take easy and shouldn't worry as much. Just wanna show everyone still care about work and what not and not trying to take advantage of workplace or my friends by not being here or there.

I'm mostly doing fine and not doing anything heavy like lifting or walking up steps and all that. I did go out to eat on 4th of july with family cause wanted to do something special for them but that was first time out of house besides dr appts since had the surgery so...am trying best to take it easy. Sorry if seems like not taking your advice seriously or with caution its just I don't really like being that person whom just sits back even when in pain because feel like a bum/lazy jerk not doing anything. Just finished exercises earlier and now resting with ice pack on leg.

sonicthehedgehog57 : Ok that's good to hear take it nice and easy. Please don't forget to update me on your health when you can. Because I need to make sure that I know you are doing ok. And where you stand at recovery wise. It seems it may take more than a month for you to recover your leg sadly.

/~~Final Update~~/ This is gonna be last post/update on this thread since all of the physical therapy work has been finished, no follow ups are needed for the surgery now, and I will be going back to work tomorrow morning. I can definitely walk better than before although still have trouble jogging at all even if doing so slightly, as well as still having issue with locking up for couple seconds at a time...but other than that it's mostly better. Still a little swollen in comparison to left leg but has gone down dramatically from the start of this thread.

I was extremely feverish to finally be able to go back to work and still am semi-happy to go back, though they kind of played me on a loop around friday >> by saying that my supervisor is no longer gonna be with me anymore and then doing a 180 the following day and saying I'd have her till the 20th or so? So I have no clue how it's gonna be when I get back, if I'm even in same place with same supervisor I really don't know and is kind of annoying that they can't make up their mind on what to do.

I've more so been happy that can be back on here for the most part normally, and do apologize for lack of appearances for long while. Especially with disappearance from the review directory and testing positions which didn't get back into really until late july or so. I'm hoping I can continue to be more active like before even with returning to work now, and hopefully won't be having anymore issues like this popping up out of nowhere.

Only other piece of news that had occur is that I lost about another 10 or so pounds since have been gone from work. (since was originally in high 270's but now am only at 267, which is great leap from when ended college year in 2014 where went up to 298) The humorous part is how the heck did I not lose anything before when really walking 3.5-4 miles each day xD but sitting around at home not doing much and going to therapy helped me?? Guess being lazy on the couch should be next method?


Other than that I have no other big news to share with those looking into this thread, less than just none of you having to worry about me going through anymore procedures/visits at the current time. (besides normal dr. appt would have yearly) So this now 20 year old hedgehog will end his message here, and like always...I hope everyone has a good day/night and continues to have a wonderful time in on life or on Vizzed.
