Look, so, Braid is amazing. And everything would be even more amazing expanded upon, and put into novel form.

Any other examples you can think of? There are already certain novels of videogame series, like Kingdom Hearts's novel about Vanitas, or the Final Fantasy VII novel about the geostigma. But what about something that hasn't been done?

yoshirulez! : I would have to say a couple of the Resident Evil games or maybe Metroid Prime or Fusion. Either would work fairly well as a Manga adaptation, as well. Those are really the only ones I can come up with.

A fan fiction about any good JRPG would be good to me I think they'd work as a novel.

The Metal Gear series would work quite well (even as a manga). Other examples would be Mother, Persona 3, Epic Mickey, Undertale, Mega Man Zero, and The last of us.

9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors and its sequels. They're basically novels already and they're super good. (Well, the third one isn't out until the end of this month, but it's probably good too.)

Well saying Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 would be too easy.
So I'm going to go ahead and say Suikoden II, it's perfect for book format, a story of Kingdoms, and armies, and betrayals, people gobble that stuff up.
Also Fable would make a nice Adult fairy tale book but Microsoft destroyed Lionhead so that could never happen

I would love a book for undertale. The story is amazing and really well done so I don't think there would be a problem with people who like the game not wanting to read the book. The game has a ton of comedy as well and I'm pretty sure that if Toby wrote the book, he'd easily be able to transfer a lot of the magic that made the game so popular into the book. If there was a complete novelization of the book by him, I would get it in a heartbeat and I would probably finish it in a day or two as well.
