If you remember my review of Timeaus Patch I said that the game was hard but a fair kind of hard usually. I'm not taking it back, but I'm saying this one might be harder. Now I will say this upfront, I only played Falzar, this is my first time Playing Gregar so my experience is limited. Now to start off, this game is honestly better made in most aspects to Timeaus Patch, but I don't think it's as good. This game is defiantly technically better but the real question is, is it fair. Graphics (9): Unlike Timaeus Patch this game has little to no graphical errors. The custom sprites work almost flawlessly, the new battlechips fit in fine. The only real glitch I ran into is looking at the end of the standard chip library before beating the final boss, as they put in 4 extra battlechips and looking at them glitches the game out. It doesn't break the game as you can just back out of the library and everything is fine. All and all the graphics are great in this hack, with custom sprites that match the style of the game. Addictiveness (7): Usually I'd rate a MMBN game higher, because there's always so much to explore, but this one kind of drags. This is probably due to the ridiculously hard boss fights, but I'll get to that latter. If you want to you can try and collect everything, but I honestly don't really see a need to. The game just kind of drags near the end, and you'll hit several brick walls that really take the fun out of the game. Story (): The story is the exact same, so no need to actually rate it. It does have the nice feature of not having broken text replacing so that's a plus. Depth (8): You have several new bosses to fight, like Megaman, Starforce Megaman, Rouge, The Count, Laser Man, and several others. You have 4 new battlechips to collect, and a lot of the chips are Difficulty (10): Yeah, this is where I'm going to spend most of my time talking. This game is hard, harder than Timeaus Patch, and while that game has arguably harder bosses, this one has a few features that make it annoying. First off the enemies have faster attacks and some new abilities. That's fine, I don't mind making them harder but it is very annoying combined with the next feature. Almost all the bosses abilities stun you if they hit you. This means you have to dodge everything or you will get hit then you'll be a sitting duck. This is most evident in Circus Man's fight, where he will just keep stunning you had you have a split second to dodge before he nails you again. If this was Falzar you could just use Tomahawk Cross, but sadly we don't have that power. This is only a problem with the bosses, most of the other enemies are quite easy, except this time I don't have tengu cross to make them easier. They changed the chips around and one of the things they did was remove life aura. They Overall (7): The game is very well made, with great custom sprites, but the cheep bosses really hold it back. Given a choice I would play Timeaus Patch because even though it's hard, it feel like a fair sort of hard. It's far more cluttered and glitchy but the game on a whole is more enjoyable. On a technical level this hack is one of the best, but on a game play level it just rams you into brick walls especially near the end, and especially against Circus Man. The stuns are the biggest problem with this game, if they were removed it would be far more user friendly. I had fun in places but have no real desire to continue with this game. I beat the final boss and am satisfied with that. If you're a master at evasion who finds the normal game too easy, you may like this. But it's honestly not the game for me.
