do you have any problems with potholes where you live? according to an article I read a priest in MADRID SPAIN has given up hope that local authorities in his parish of XESTOSO located in the northwest of the country will fix the potholes in the roads,so he has asked for divine intervention.he celebrated mass on a pitted road SUNDAY and splashed holy water to bless it.each pothole is now marked with a wooden cross on the roadside so drivers can slow down before hitting them.according to what the priest told journalists he said"just like we can pray to the lord for rain"he is pleading for divine intervention to fix the road because it,s going to be the only way to do that" . he said the authorities are blind to the situation and he feels totally abandoned. I thought I would mention this article because back where I live we have a terrible problem with potholes although they do fix some of them they are still pretty bad

Dekalb county couldn't care less about their roads, so there are potholes everywhere. Then they "fix" them by pouring asphalt in them and wait for it to be thrown out of the holes by cars, then saying "well, we've done all we can do."

Hidden Phantom : Heh, we don't have potholes. Our roads are so torn up that they're practically gravel now. We recently elected a new road supervisor thinking he'd take care of the issue. They put up new, shiny signs, repainted the lines and put down reflectors.

Oh, I might also add that the city decided to buy several new police cars, though.
