Hey everyone. So lately I've been experiencing depression, and have been going on about it for a little too long now. I feel that I shouldn't be on vizzed if I'm currently trying to deal with depression and other problems within my life. Evey time it would usually result in me creating drama around the board. And that's no fun for anyone. But I wanted to stay and have a good time posting, talking with other members, etc. It is a really hard decision for me along to make, so any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm with Tgags on this. Look inside yourself, weigh the pros and cons of leaving / staying, and make the choice you feel is best for yourself. Try to look at it from both an emotional and rational perspective when weighing the options. To sum it up in a sentence - Does being on Vizzed bring you more happiness or sorrow? Happy, then stay. Sad, then leave (or just play games and avoid the boards).

Being depressed makes you feel like less than you're worth, but asking others to make decisions for you isn't going to solve anything. Sooner or later you'll have choices you can't turn to anyone about (or at least REALLY shouldn't) and it's better to get used to making these kinds of decisions on your own. Asking someone else to choose for you is just a way to try to exclude yourself from blame if it doesn't turn out how you'd hope. You should live your life how you see fit, not from what others think you should do.
The whole point of advice is to take what information others give you, think about your own experience with what was suggested, and use the information you have to make the most rational / best possible choice.

Stand on your own two feet and DO what you think is best. If you follow through with that, and I mean really follow through, no one can ask anymore of you.

I'm in no way trying to be mean / rude or talk down to you in any sense. I'm just being blunt.

I think you need to take a break from the site, or at least the forums. Don't post for an entire week or something (I can help you with that if you want help - 7 day bans are standard ). Then come back but don't make any threads for a while. Just post in other peoples threads for a while. Then maybe start making threads a month from now or something. Just take things slow.
