I've noticed a Pokemon rank name error and it so happens that I'm in that rank right now.Instead of it saying "Growlithe" it says "GrowlitheGolbat".I know it's a minor problem but it should be fixed.

I think Davids isn't a mew (that is the "pink animal") because he put in at 10,000 posts for some things that you "climb the ranks again" meaning he started back down at bulbasaur and is working his way back up.

That's just how the ranks have always worked, the 'Climbing the ranks again' sort of thing. I don't like it either but once you hit the top, it gives you something to work on again rather than being stuck at the very top rank.
