I normally don't do this, but today, I'll be reviewing an indie game for the Wii U. That game is called Soon Shine, it was made Dahku Creations, a little known indie company that made 2 Wii U titles before they stopped making games all together in late August of 2014. Soon Shine was the last game they made, and it's the only one by them I'll be reviewing. Now without further ado, I'll go ahead and start this review.

Graphics: 6/10 Compared to other indie titles I've played on the Wii U, Soon Shine's visuals are pretty mediocre. The background environments are very colorful, whether you're in the sky in between 2 giant plants, or you're in an area with cogs and pipes, there's a good variety of areas that look nice for a $1.99 eshop game. Overall, Soon Shine's visuals are getting a 6 from me.

Sound: 7/10 Soon Shine has some soothing piano tunes that are very fitting for a relaxing puzzle game. I found myself humming along to the simple, yet very calming music as I got farther and farther into the game. For a game that's as cheap as Soon Shine is, they definitely did a good job with adding good music to the game, and for that, I'm giving the sound a 7.

Addictiveness: 8/10
As far as replayability is concerned, Soon Shine is one of the funner Wii U eshop exclusive indie games I've played. Basically, you play as both the sun and moon, and you have to destroy these different colored spirits using the powers of both the sun and the moon. You start off playing as the sun, destroying darker colored spirits, but eventually, you start seeing brighter colored spirits popping up, and you need to switch to the moon to get rid of them. It's a pretty simple concept, but still very addicting nevertheless. While there are more addicting games on the Wii U, Soon Shine is addicting enough for me to give that category an 8.

Story: N/A Soon Shine doesn't have a storyline, therefore I'm leaving this category blank.

Depth: 5/10 Soon Shine only has 3 game modes. There's standard mode, there's purist mode, which doesn't allow you to use items, and there's timed, which is where you only have 3 minutes to get as high of a score as you can. There isn't much content here, but what do you really expect from a 2 dollar game? Still, I have to give Soon Shine's depth a fair score, so I'm giving it a 5.

Difficulty: 2/10 This is the category where Soon Shine truly falters. The game starts off extremely easy, with very few enemies coming at you, and the ones that are on the screen move very slowly towards you. It remains this laughably easy for at least a good 5-10 minutes. After that, it starts getting tougher, but it starts off so easy, that it's kinda boring at the beginning. Due to how easy the game is for awhile, I'm giving the difficulty a 2.

Overall Score: 6/10
Soon Shine should only be bought by people who either want to support a really small indie developer, or people who want to buy something cheap from the Wii U Eshop. While it sounds great and has decent visuals, it's extreme lack of difficulty prevents it from being a must buy for fans of indie games. Overall, Soon Shine is decent enough for me to give it an overall score on 6 out of 10. I hope you enjoyed this quick review of an indie game.

From the description you gave, I do not think I would like to play the game! It was nicely written, but I feel like you missed on a few details. What about other indie games; how DO the graphics compare? What about the music? Also (personal preference) be careful with word fillers (the last sentence in most of your paragraphs); it does not add much content.
