Background The last game of its series. I would talk about the original, but since this is far more obscure and under appreciated, I'll discuss this game instead. Originally to be titled "Shinobi Kid", Alex Kidd in Shinobi World is the final Alex Kidd game, and as it is a sendoff, SEGA has put their all in creating perhaps the finest Master System game. The game was released in North America and Europe in late 1990.

StoryIt stars Alex Kidd, SEGA's former unofficial kingpin back in the 80's, in a wacky parody of SEGA's classic Shinobi.  An evil being kenned as Hanzo the Dark Ninja eludes after 10,000 years of confinement and abducts Alex Kidd's incipient girlfriend from planet Shinobi. After the abduction, Alex encounters the ghost of the archaic warrior who pristinely vanquished the Dark Ninja, who expounds that the Dark Ninja intends to sacrifice Alex's girlfriend to surmount the world. The spirit of the archaic warrior fuses itself with Alex's body, lending Alex his vigor, skills, and valiancy.

Music:
Not much to say. It's excellent for Sega Master System, and will really catch your attention. Check it out quick! It will not disappoint.

Gameplay The game is very short, having only four rounds, each with three stages and a boss battle. Alex has a vast collection of inherited weapons, such as a sword that can destroy enemies and open treasure chests. He also can obtain a powered-up sword and ninja throwing darts, as well as utilize magic to transform into a tornado. Additionally, he can also wall-jump and become a fireball when clinging on to a rope. Locals include a sprawling urban area, a buoyant gleaming harbor, an exotic bamboo garden, and a haunting mansion. The fiendish fools include the fireball samurai Kabuto, a persistent helicopter fleet, the vicious robotic Robster, and your enigmatic ninja adversary Hanzo. The game is stylish, as it offers the very best for its dying system. However, it gets quite difficult  gradually.  Overall, I would say this game is worth playing immensely.  Play it very soon. Good luck!

That review is already better that the Toad game from the NES. It's still all clamped together, but at least you added a few more details. Don't be shy to get into details; it will make your review all the better and get people to try the game (or not).

Janus is right, it's a brick of text. I do think though that it had pretty good writing.

A tip that might help you, is to organize it by category.

For example

Story :6/10

bla bla bla

Graphics: 1/10

Bla bla

That should help you. Also as a goal for your next review, why not try to get to 500 words?

As for the game, I never really enjoyed shinobi so I never really did enjoy this.
