Hello everyone!

First off, let me just say thank you to David Auchampach for creating Vizzed. I've seen similar sites over the years, most of them were just fancy repositories of roms, but this one makes me very happy. There have been a lot of sites for art, gaming, and music, but I rarely post in forums or even bother to introduce myself.

Why is this site different you ask?

I think it has a lot to do with the Viz system as it keeps everything and everyone honest and it provides fun "commerce" and to me adds in to the experience of the site feeling like an RPG.

Anyway, let's move on to me. Shall we?

What's in a name? Currently I refer to myself as Utopia (No, not in public silly). The world wide web forces me to add pesky numbers on the end of my name because apparently I am not as unique as I think I am. Here on Vizzed you may call me UtopiaCoyote, Utopia570, or just Utopia is fine.

I'm not sure how much everyone really wants to know, but I am into RPGs, platformers, strategy, and shooters (ie. Galaga, 1942, Einhander, etc). I like all genres of games and most all themes (except music games, sorry) but RPGs or games with wide open worlds and deep story are my favorites. I also enjoy sandbox games that let you build your own story, (First thing you thought was Minecraft wasn't it?) one of my favorites is Min... Space Engineers!

I am a Nintendo baby, I adore Mario and Link. My first system was the NES waaay back in 1991 and I pride myself on being born in 1986 the very same year that The Legend of Zelda was released. Another great from that year is Dragon Warrior, my first RPG (Just to clarify, Zelda is an Action/Adventure, not an RPG), to this day I still find myself going back to the original on the NES and traveling the land of Alefgard in search of powerful relics to battle the evil Dragonlord!

Well there you go, a nice short intro to me and my interests. If you are interested in learning more, and I hope you are, perhaps we can be friends and talk about cool video game secrets or funny memories from our favorite games!

No Signature yet, I'm really open to suggestions if anyone wants to throw some my way!

Utopia570: Nice introduction. Detailed and interesting. Haha, you certainly put reason behind your username Utopia.

Welcome to Vizzed; we are glad you are here and you are happy of what you've found. Don't feel bad about having to add numbers on your username. I just got lucky with mine. UtopiaCoyote, eh? That is what you were originally aiming for. Is there any particular reason? You can Explain Your Name.

I absolutely adore sandbox games and open-worlds and such. In truth, Minecraft was admired by me for a little while. However, I eventually grew bored of doing the same thing, rather than having something to actually do. Even the Minecraft Story Mode wasn't that interesting....

Mario and the Legend of Zelda were my favorite oldies, as they were the games I grew up with. Sure, the disc-consoles were around, but I was financially troubled, so I never got much chance to play them...

Wait a second, so Legend of Zelda is not an RPG?! I have been living a lie... Well, learn something new every day, haha.

For a signature, a lot of people use quotes or images. I use a quote that I thought of... Most likely it has already been said, but I didn't look it up, so I do not know. I have seen many signatures that famous people have said. For instances of quotes quickly, search on Google "[name] quotes", with the name of the person replacing [name].
e.g. Albert Einstein quotes

Thank you for your beautiful reply TheTrueUlti!
Yes I did do a "Explain Your Name" post as well. Thank you!

Minecraft (before story mode) was also one of my favorites, I loved the mine this build that formula and the pixel rendered cubes were very charming. It's great how a simple idea like that can spawn such a diverse and rich community of like-minded people.
Space Engineers offers the freedom and building of minecraft with the majesty of deep space. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Sandbox genre.

Heh, yes, there were many consoles I would have loved, the Tiger XL, and the Panavision are two that come to mind but I remember having a Saturn, and a Playstation. Which reminds me, one of my all time favorite RPGs is Shining the Holy Ark for the Saturn. The story was so AAA worthy by today's standards, and the three main characters the player controlled were just top notch characters.

Thank you again for the warm welcome and I hope hear from you all at some point.

Nice to meet you, Utopia! (You said that was fine to call you, right?) I'm MrBeingcool1, a YouTuber, gamer, Minecrafter, Mario-lover, funmaker, etc. I'm 16 years old and i come from the Netherlands. 'Short' intro's are good, but your intro was detailed and great! If you want, i can send you a friend request! You can accept it if you know how to do so! And also: Which Mario games do you like/love?

If you need help, ask the mods or if you wanna make it quick, ask me! Nice to meet you!

Thanks for your cool reply MrBeingcool1!

It is perfectly acceptable to call me Utopia, go right ahead.

Netherlands huh? Having never left the states I'm afraid I'm somewhat ignorant of the places far and wide. I love hearing about other Countries and places, please tell me a bit more about your home.

Hmm, favorite Mario games huh? Well I'll be honest so please don't judge me too harshly, but the only Mario game that I really could not get into was Super Mario Sunshine. I don't know what it is about the game that I don't like but I suspect it has something to do with the water jet.

I see, so you have ways which are faster than the mods, huh? Good to know. Thank you, MrBeingcool1, it was a pleasure meeting you!

Utopia

EDIT: I realized after I posted this just how many times I say huh? I will be more attentive and detailed in future posts.

Utopia570 : Well, i live in the Netherlands as i already told you, and all i'm gonna say about my home is that i can't live in peace due to loud neighbors...

Due to further privacy, i'm not gonna share more things about my home. But may i ask: Where do YOU live? (Of course i'm not asking an exact house, because of your privacy.)

Super Mario Sunshine is actually a cool game, except the fact that the first course is already hard enough for a Super Mario Sunshine semi-newbie like me. A good friend of me in real life LOVES Super Mario Sunshine, though.

Well, i don't know if there's a faster way to help than the mods do, but i can take you to the mods if you need help. There's another user who can help you as well, his name here is RDay13 and he is a trusted member.

How to get that rank? Well, try to earn the trust of everyone here, and you get Trust Points if you're also patient enough. If you ask for them, you'll probably be banned. I destroyed the trust of everyone here once, and i'm on my way to earn that back.

About your edit: If you say "Huh?" a lot, that's okay. If you could notice, i say "Well..." a lot before saying something.

Hello again MrBeingcool1,

It was never my intention to pry into your privacy, I was thinking more a long the lines of cultural exchange. I may not have left the US but I have the heart of an explorer, a la Star Trek. I came in peace, and meant no harm. However, if talk of your home is inappropriate then I will never bother you on that subject again.

As far as my home, I live in sunny Saint Petersburg, Florida. Not much to say except we are purported to have the #1 beach in the world, De Soto Beach. Also we have one of the largest LGBT communities second to California. Personally, I think Saint Pete is boring and full of old folks and there is nothing to do here except bowling and movie theaters.

Thanks for all your help, I do not believe I will need a mod for anything just yet. I'm sure everything will be fine. And I am just me, if people trust me great, if they don't, their loss. I'm a pretty likable guy and I keep my own affairs, I wager most keep theirs as well.

Thank you all once again for your warm welcomes!

This is without a doubt the most I've ever been active on a website. Please take a moment to check out my review for Shining the Holy Ark (freshly submitted last night) and give us a like if you enjoy it! I am very much enjoying Vizzed and everyone that is a part of this impressive community. A shout out to Davideo7 for creating such an ace website. Absolutely brilliant idea you had with this one, man. If I get enough traffic on my review more will follow, you can count on that! Good morning to all and have a wonderful day!
