What are your thoughts on the video? Did you enjoy it? I personally thought it was incredible, and it's the best video I've seen on youtube in 2016.

I watched it, for being an entirely fan made creation it is very impressive, in particular some of the effects used during the light saber battles. The only thing that somewhat bothered me was that the voice acting felt a bit cheesy at the start but overall I enjoyed it and for once I actually wanted Darth Maul to win. For some reason I almost expected him to take the girl at the end as his apprentice.

I feel the script paled in comparison to say, "The Force Awakens", or even any of the original trilogy.  However, the action...wow.  Those lightsaber duels are perhaps more intense than any ever seen before in the Star Wars series (at least compared to the ones I've seen).  It really set Darth Maul up well, imo...although it did very much seem contrived, rather than natural.  It seemed more of an excuse to see Darth Maul pummel the life out of the jedi.  Overall, it showed promise, but I feel it could have been better.  Perhaps expanding the characters' backstories before they encounter Darth Maul.  Showing what they are capable of, just how much they lost, and more fully why they lost...and why Darth Maul won.  Ultimately, the greatest weakness and the greatest strength of the video is its fights.  The focus is so much on the fights, that we seem to have little reason to care about the characters.  Yet the fight is so brilliantly choreographed, that it is impressive to watch.

I like supernerds analysis of the video. There was no story besides Darth Maul is going to kill them all and the 1 Jedi and his apprentice seemed to have a strong bond. I do think the apprentice girl was a pretty good actress. I felt the pain she felt. That was about it. The rest of the people seemed wooden and I didn't care about them at all.

I watched the first 2 minutes and I was like dayum, these guys are good. Everything was awesome, the effects, the settings, the actual acting.

I have no idea what any of it was about, but it looked incredible.
