I thought I'd share an interesting story from when I was younger.  I was playing Pokemon Emerald one day and was trying to catch Kyogre.  It was at full health and I had done nothing to it.  My friend next to me asked to see the game.  He threw a normal Poke ball.  Bam!  He caught it, just like that.  He didn't put in any directions or codes or anything.  It was pretty legit.

That's dope. And my luck is so bad I can't even catch a low HP Caterpie with a Master Ball. Joking, of course. I have a semi-related "story" about me being super paranoid and stupid as a kid. I got the Master Ball in Pokemon Sapphire, played through the whole game with it, until I got to Kyogre and decided I wanted to catch it. I was so scared and unknowing that I made sure I got Kyogre to low HP before using the Master Ball, just in case. He was at about 75% HP and then... I hit with a critical attack and it died before I could catch it. Again, I was stupid, and saved right after the battle. I was devastated and felt really dumb.

I was playing pokemon fire red when I suddenly encountered a shiny zapdos, but the thing is that I didn't know it was a shiny because of two reasons: I wasn't aware of the fact that shiny pokemon existed at the time. And It's color was virtually the same. Moving on, I accidentally killed it without ever knowing it was a shiny until I looked around the internet and discovered the extremely rare existence of shiny pokemon. Haha... One could imagine my expression upon realizing this.

I think my best story from Pokemon is from the Elite Four in Emerald. I had made it all the way to the Champion at that pointand my team barely made it there. During the battle, he just destroyed my team and only left my Slaking. At that point, I had no hope left but still went on. My Slaking just went beast, dodging like everything Wallace threw at me and just obliterating his team. When he threw out his last Pokemon, Milotic, it left my Slaking in red health, and he was "loafing around" that turn. Next turn, Milotic missed and my Hyper Beam 1HKO'd it.

It was great.

This never happened to me, but I have something similar, as well as 2 other stories

1.) I caught MEWTWO, with a pokeball, I misclicked while playing Y and full HP caught it.

2.) When I was little and playing Pokémon Sapphire, I ran across a shiny Skarmory, not even trying, I though my game was glichted, so I caught it and took it to Game stop where the guy asked why I was returning it, since he was there when I bought the game as well as when I talked about it and how fun it was, I told him about the " weird colored Skarmory" he smiled and said " I'll get that checked" I never saw that Skarmory again, he apparently fixed the game, and all my stuff was the same, however I couldn't find that Skarmory.

Until that is, when ORAS came out, the guy was still working there and I considered him a friend. So when I bought the game, he gave me a friend code and said " since you've been buying at Game stop so long, we're giving you a sort of, loyalty rewards program." he told me to access it after I beat the game, and when I did and put the code in, guess what I got?? A SHINY SKARMORY, followed by Unknown spelling " sorry bout earlier... battle?" (the periods weren't there, I just kind of put them there, and they were all traded to me one after the other. I had a bunch of Spinda from Shiny chaining for one of them.)

Ok so one of my cousins loves to play hacks while the other doesnt. So i sat through and killed his team with my latias in pokemon saphire before omega ruby. Then when i was playing some friends i killed their teams with my latias, both were named alley. ...LOL

The only story I have is from about three years ago when I was really into playing Pokemon Black. I had gotten it from a close friend of mine and played it pretty much nonstop, beating the Pokemon League easily after about two or three days. Since I caught almost every Pokemon I ran into on my journey, I was kinda bored and looking for something to do when that same friend told me about Tornadus.

So I started my hunt for this new legendary, following the signs on the route hubs and whatnot. But no matter what new route I went to, I'd always run into a male Purrloin. No joke. It happened to me every. Single. Time. My friends started joking it was the same one all the time, trying to get my attention so I'd catch it.

The more I looked, the more I kept running into this stupid cat. Finally I got fed up with the whole situation and just caught the thing. I think I named him something silly, like "Doom Cat" or "Determinator". Funnily enough, I stopped seeing Purrloins everywhere once I caught him.

(Never actually caught Tornadus either- my luck is the worst when it comes to legendaries.)
