It makes sense to have a spell check because if some words aren't spelled correctly, the sentence can take on an entirely different meaning than what the person writing it intended but would it be going overboard if someone invented a grammar check?

Well Surgaic, I have a solution, but first I want to say: WHY WOULD SOME PEOPLE IGNORE MY POSTS.

I post this one in((Newbie Forum-hi im Fireraptor)), and I'm going to post it here again:

If you have ((Microsoft Office Word)) installed on your computer, then follow this:

1-Open the ((Microsoft Office Word)).
2-Write the word in ((Microsoft Office Word)) that you want to write it in the forums.
3-If it was underlined by a red color right click it then select the word you meant to spell it in the forums.
4-Copy the word and place it in the forums.

I hope this helped you, but if you don't have it((Microsoft Office Word)) installed on your computer, then just grab a book of spelling words and search the word then write it in the forums.

Hope people don't ignore it.

I think that spell check is a useful tool, but is relied on way too heavily by most people under the age of 20 these days. Geeogree, I think you're absulotely right in that people need to learn to use the language properly, but grammar is different than spelling. Grammar is usually much harder for people to get right because of the myriad of different rules you need to follow. So, I think that a grammar check would be a good thing to have, but like the spell check, it should be used as more of a resource to ascertain that you are correct than a crutch.

I agree with Hypermonkey and Geeogree, some people might abuse of it and just corrective any spelling errors they get.Thus, resulting in them never learning how to spell the word they're having trouble with.

As long as the grammar check still always them to post then no, I don't think it's going overboard at all. Some people need to see what they are doing wrong.
