Author's note: This was written by me a very long time ago, and I just now remembered it. So, I decided to post it here. It's going to be different than some of the more recent stories that I post here. With that said, enjoy the story that 10-year-old me made. --- The newspaper of October 6th's headline and article was: MISSING CHILD A girl called Carla Roberson and 11 years old was declared missing on the night of October 5th, 2002, when her parents came to tell her that dinner was ready. They soon called the cops after they saw their child was missing. With thorough investigation, all that was found of possible evidence that someone abducted her was a notebook of some sort, it didn't seem like a diary the girl would have. There is no entry on the 5th, the day that she was declared missing. We've only added the things that might trace to her abduction: September 22nd, 2002 A few hours ago, I noticed a family has moved into our neighborhood. When my parents and I came over to welcome them to the neighborhood, I saw that they had a child about the age of nine, about my age. Short brown hair, green eyes. She was like a statue. Steady green eyes that never showed any emotion or blinked, never moving a muscle, and never speaking. Weird, but I soon shook it off and gave the parents a book for the girl. I personally think she’s kind of pretty, like someone who would want to be my friend. I soon went back to reading things and playing some games on the computer, and didn’t think about her again until I glanced out the window and saw the new neighbors’ house. September 23rd, 2002 School started up again. However, I was thinking about the new neighbors’ child. Actually, there really isn’t much to think about her, now that I look back on the details. She just has brown hair and green eyes, she never blinked, never moved, and didn’t say a word. Well, that is some stuff. But for some reason, she didn’t seem like an ordinary nine year old. Oh well. I also found out the girl (And I still don’t know her name) goes to my school. I waved to her this morning, but she didn’t respond. I think there’s something supernatural about her. Well, I gotta get back to my homework. I’ll write in you soon! September 24th, 2002 Not really much to say. Went to school, did schoolwork, ate lunch, did more school, went home. However, I noticed something when the girl stared at someone. Her green iris turned red as she stared at them, and they all went into a hypnotized state as she stared at them. A few moments later, they snap out of their "trance" I'm just glad that, hopefully, I didn't get hypnotized. Sheesh, it's creepy to even think of it. (Entries from the 24th to the 30th is irrelevant to Carla's abduction) September 30th, 2002 Happy Birthday to me! Today, I learned that the girl's name is Magnolia Marie. Pretty name. Also, my friend, Violetta, isn't looking too good. She's so pale and it seems like she hasn't gotten any I think Magnolia's to blame. I saw her give Violetta the "stare" as I call it. That's all I really learned about Magnolia today. Maybe I'll learn more sooner in the months ahead of me. You'll never know. October 1st, 2002 Oh my god, something insane happened today! You know how Violetta looked horribly sick? Well today, she was GONE. I phoned her mom, and she said she hasn't seen Violetta all morning! When she went to get her out of bed (She's a She had called the police, but they didn't trace any hair samples or blood that could find out who had abducted Violetta. Magnolia is definitely to blame, little witch, the girl is. Just wait 'till her parents hear about this... Wherever Violetta is, I hope she's OK. She's been my friend since the first grade. ![]() (At the bottom of this entry there is a picture of Violetta and Carla taped onto the paper) October 2nd, 2002 Remember how Violetta disappeared, and she was given the "stare"? Well, three other people who was given the "stare" by Magnolia disappeared today at my school. It's all over the California news, and the school paper. Also, after school, I told Magnolia's parents about their kid. They thought that I was making up stuff, that Magnolia could never do such a thing. She was a normal, natural child. Their sweet, innocent, child... OK, I'm getting carried away, but still! Either Magnolia hypnotized them not to notice it or they actually have no idea of their child's supernatural "powers" as I call it. October 3rd, 2002 Oh, I feel horrible! Magnolia gave me the "stare" yesterday and now I think I've got a cold. However, when I felt my head, it was normal, maybe a bit too cold like it always gets when it's getting chilly, and my temperature was fine, too. When I looked into the mirror this morning I was so pale I was almost white, so my light blonde hair blended in with my face, and had black rings under my violet eyes, like Violetta. My parents called my school and they let me take a sick day off. October 4th, 2002 The heck? Today, Magnolia and her family moved out of our neighborhood, saying that "the kids in school and the neighborhood didn't like their child" That is NOT a reason to move out of a neighborhood when they just moved in about two weeks ago! Seriously! If they had just given her a chance she could have made some friends... Oh wait. Maybe they know that she is supernatural. Argh, my stomach feels horrible. Maybe some Underneath this entry was this, in horribly written words: THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME CARLA ROBERSON If anyone knows any information about this abduction, we urge you to call your local police department immediately. --- The newspaper of October 6th's headline and article was: MISSING CHILD A girl called Carla Roberson and 11 years old was declared missing on the night of October 5th, 2002, when her parents came to tell her that dinner was ready. Nice story! It was well written and kept me interested all the way through. I also enjoyed the fact that you are free to speculate in what actually happened to Carla and who the weird family was. Personally I think that the entire family was involved in the abductions. You're a really good writer for your age, I hope you keep it up and you future work will be truly amazing! ![]() You're a really good writer for your age, I hope you keep it up and you future work will be truly amazing! ![]() |

Wow, that's some darn good story telling now. You really have a gift to be this good at your age. Do you still continue to write stories like this one? I'd love to see more work that is similar ![]() ![]() |
