This is a thread where you share an awesome memory that you'll never forget. It can be a recent or past memory, just a memory that you think will stay with you forever.

A memory that I will always remember was back when I was about 8. Every kid on the street used to know each other and hang out and do a bunch of stuff. we would mostly play sports or manhunt but a lot of the time we would be doing things that would get us in trouble. This memory is from when we where playing nicky nicky nine door, for those of you who are unfamiliar it is when you have to ring the door bell of nine houses and run off (basically ding dong ditch). There where a bunch of us of varying ages and I was the youngest of the group. We where going along like a normal day banging doors and running when on one of the doors we rang the guy came out with a gun. We all ran like crazy, I remember the oldest one threw me on his shoulder cause he would always look after me. The guy fired some shots at us and we never looked back we just kept running. when we finally stopped we realised that there was a bullet stuck in one of the guys shoes. We all started laughing and joking about it cause we where dumb kids. We did still play nicky after that day but never at that house again.

This memory may seem more like a horror memory or a scary one but to me it is a very valued memory and one that I love. A lot of the kids from my street grew up and moved away leaving me the youngest. The newer generation of kids are all stuck up and stay cooped up in their houses with their phones or videogames. It makes me sad that I won't be able to play outside and cause mischief like I used to and that the newer generation won't get to live the fun we used to have.

An awesome memory that I have and I'll keep forever in my heart. It was a few years ago. My family was invited to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of two friends' marriage. We knew them when we were nearby Paris at that time. Then they moved to another city and we did the same but not in the same city. Obviously, that celebration means lot of stuff, including dancing. I danced with a girl to "Hotel California" by Eagles. Believe it or not, I've never had a chance to dance to a ballad with a girl during my childhood so it was a first. She wanted to dance with me so I didn't deny that and ask the DJ if it was possible to play that song specifically, since it's one of my favorite ballads. That's the story of Laian dancing to "Hotel California" with a girl he met during a party. Everytime I listen to this music, I think of this moment. I'll never forget it.

Becoming a trusted member on vizzed was pretty unforgettable to me. I'm not sure if this really is worth mentioning. But the way I lost it is definitely something that I won't be forgetting any time soon.

I was working at a job and I was in charge of a large team of people.  The general manager and I were slowly but surely not getting along and we were having strong differences in how we wanted to run the building and how we managed our people.  It got to the point where a series of meetings led me to believe I did not want to continue working under this person.  I went so far as to have a letter of intent to terminate my employment.  I didn't have a back-up job yet but I wasn't worried.

The day before I was going to submit my letter of resignation, the regional operations director showed up.  He said, "Hey, I don't know you that well and I'm curious about some things.  Let's talk."

An hour later, it turned into what I thought was a job interview but I had no idea why.  There are a very limited number of buildings in the region and there were no openings anywhere.

I kept working to see what, if anything, would come from this.

Two days later, he invited me to breakfast, I accepted, and he gave me a job offering for a position they were not going to post.  He felt my particular skill set would make me a perfect boss for this building.

Two weeks later I had the keys to a new building.  It was the coolest experience, that rapid evolution of events, in my life.  I'll always remember it.  I'm still at my building, I have a staff who love me and have said they'd do anything for the clients, and we're killing it.

I'll go with one good and one bad memory here.

The good memory that will always be with me is losing my virginity. I realize this is something that everyone probably remembers but it's special to me for the circumstances in which it happened. My girlfriend and I were 15. Neither of our parents would really give us the chance to be alone so we could fool around, and neither of us could drive yet so we had to get creative. We came up with going to the movies in the middle of the week when no ones there. We went on a Friday to see some stupid chick flick she wanted to check out, and the room was about half full but nobody except us was in the back. Almost halfway through the movie she said screw this, I want you inside me (I'm paraphrasing of course). You can only imagine how excited I was to hop on top of her in a room full of people. I will always cherish that memory.

And now the bad one. I used a lot of drugs when I was in my late teens. As with a lot of people who use pain pills consistently, I ended up becoming an addict. I worked my way over to heroin because its cheaper and easier to find. I have used a needle about 15 to 20 times, even sharing with a few people. It's truly a miracle I never caught Hepatitis or HIV, knowing people I shared with ended up with it. Most of the higher ups in the distribution game aren't people you want to screw with and other addicts will rob, cheat, and anything else you can imagine to get what they want. So I made the brilliant decision to start keeping a gun with me. There was a spot in my car I could hide anything and even the cops could never find it. I even had K-9 dogs marking the spot and they still couldn't figure out how to get in there. So one day I went down into the city to meet with "a friend of a friend" to get about $500 worth of dope. I pulled up and he came to the car window and we started talking. I knew off rip something was sketchy. He hopped in the car to make the deal, and put a gun in my face. He took all my money and pistol whipped me across the face. All I could see was red, and as he tried to run back into the building he came from, I shot him in the back until the clip was empty. I grabbed all the stuff he took and tried to get the f**k out of there as people started coming outside. I don't know how many times he was hit, or if he's even still alive. This isn't the only time something like this has happened, and I still have nightmares about it all.

Oooh I had this hilarious memory back when Super Smash Brothers Brawl's online was still around. *sigh* Memories.

So I'm in a regular Basic Brawl match, with everyone else just deciding to attack each other, on Temple. I'm Fox in dark, running side to side, taunting away. There was a Sonic with green bracelets, a Ike in yellow, and another Ike in a different red. Red Ike is at about 120% and is just walking around in the bottom section of the stage, Sonic and yellow Ike are trying to bring their fight near me on the far right side at about 15 seconds left. I found a Star Rod item, and I tried to throw it at Sonic and yellow Ike, but it completely missed. I watched where it went, and here is where it got real.

The Star Rod flew flawlessly into the tunnel gap, and it's still going. It bounces and then hits the Ike in yellow sending him off the side into a KO at 142%! I swore, that would have never hit if I wasn't in the most precise spot in the air to throw that rod! Died laughing for a good 20 minutes, and I did save the replay.

Accidentally deleted it when making more room for other replays though. I still have it ingrained in my head. After I calmed down, I decided to head over to training mode as Fox and have the standstill as Ike and attempt to recreate that, with the percentages. Standed over on the up-most platform on the right, with a Star Rod, and tried to throw it. I eventually made it happen again.

That was one heck of a time I had. If I still had my normal Wii hooked up, I'd be playing that again to remember how hilarious that throw kill was.

I have a collection of a few awesome memories and I'm going to share two of them, both of which are events that are a couple days long.

The first was summer 2013 when I was volunteering at the MLB All Star Game Fan Fest. The entire event from Friday to Monday was a blast and it culminated in the best event of my life. During the events from Friday to Sunday I was working at the fan fest and also enjoying the many events, free things, games and booths. On Sunday, I went to the Futures game and the legends and celebrities softball game which was a blast.

As part of a contest I won at the Fan Fest, I got free tickets to the home run derby, and I got a Bryce Harper jersey and the top 2 people from the contest went on the field during the game to compete again. When I was on the field, I was able to meet some of the players as well like Mariano Rivera.

The 2nd event was Comic Con a few months ago. I was there for 3 days and had so much fun. I met John DiMaggio, one of my favorite voice actors, Alex Hirsch, the creator of Gravity Falls, and I met one of my favorite YouTubers and we hung out for a few hours. I also went to a few awesome panels like RocketJump and I met vanelan there.

I remember being like, eight or something, and I was over at a friend's house for his birthday party. Yeah.
So, I got there and all of the kids weren't there. So I went to the backyard and there was water everywhere. Literally. Like it looked like a grassy, shallow pool in the backyard and I had to walk through it.
I went to the back of the shed and so there it was, opened, with all of the kids and a soaked dog that my friend had. I just laughed, walked in, and we hung out in there.
Later, I learned that the dog had a bath and basically shook every droplet of water off its pelt and it somehow made a shallow pool. I'll always remember it because it was so odd to me.
That's my awkward story.

Probably the best memory I have is when I went to California when I was 8 (WARNING: SENTIMENTALISM APPROACHING).

You know how they say Cali is the most beautiful state in the Union and all that? There's probably a lot of people out there who think that's bull. I tend to be one of those people with broad statements like that but when I went their, I found nothing but support of that statement.

I mean, you'd be hard pressed to find a place so lively and so pretty and so cosmopolitan at the same time, anywhere else. Even at my young age it left a huge impression on me. It's the coolest place I've ever been too, and seeing as how I've been to a lot of places, that's saying something.

My best memory so far is the last performance of Jean Michel Jarre in our city, nearly eight years ago. It was the first time in like two decades that he visited us, so I had no chance of seeing him live until then (and since then he hasn't returned, but will be back in Summer). First of all, it was awesome that he accessed the stage by the central passage between the two sides of seats, so I could see him very up-close. Also, the performance was spectacular, absolutely what one would expect from a musician that gathered 3,5 millions of people in Moscow.

In a close second place is 2012, when me and my family traveled to Berlin to attend a performance from Scooter (my mom loves them even more than me), taking advantage of a national holiday. The performance was incredible, two hours jumping and dancing like there was no tomorrow, never felt so alive. Plus, due to how different Germans are from Spaniards, we felt absolutely safe, even with very little police around the stadium where the performance took place.

Another good memory I could recall, and this time not regarding concerts, was in early 2012, when I attended a Trial and Motocross event in Barcelona (hosted every year, but since my friends have grown distant due to life we don't go there anymore). We had VIP access, so we could see, talk and take photos with the best men participating there, not only national stars but international as well. Seeing all of them in person and in action, with breath-taking maneuvers and in the company of my best friends, was absolutely awesome.

EX Palen : How long were you in Berlin for? Were you there just for that day or did you stay a while?

zanderlex : Nah, it was a while. The real purpose for me and my mother was to see that performance, but we also took the chance to persuade some family members to spend the holidays abroad and visit the many things Berlin has to offer.

It was worth it, not only for the performance. We're going there again in a little more than a month, taking advantage of the same holiday as that time, so it should serve as a proof of how much we liked that city.

EX Palen : That sounds awesome, I bet there were some really awesome places to visit. Whenever I went to another place, it was just for one or two things, so I never got a chance to see anything so it sounds like it was a blast.
