Alright so a long long time ago, like at least a week or two, I made a thread with the joke title "Why mrfe's idea is stupid". Now that was made in reference to a halfway joking comment I made in the forum's rules thread, and if I'm being honest I struggled with actually pressing the submit post button because the title just wasn't very clear about what the thread was about. In fact it was about as clear as making a thread about your favorite food and calling it "Feces covered Tree bark", unless of course your favorite food actually IS feces covered tree bark. In which case your taste buds are severely impaired. Next thing you know, you'll be saying things like "I like beef stew". But I digress.

The point being, since that thread popped up, we've seen several others with identical names, minus one word change, and honestly it's beginning to clutter up the forum with thread titles that all seem identical at first glance, and all seem to be about something completely different than what they actually are. Not to mention it makes a newcomer to the forum think we're all a bunch of posterior craniums. It was all good fun and we got a laugh out of some of them, but we need to dial it down a bit. By all means be goofy and have fun still, just try to keep from being so random or spammy that no one can tell what your thread is about, or what the pudding you're trying to say in the actual post.

So yeah, basically I'm here to ask that we stop making threads that are extremely similar to one another in title, as well as threads with titles that are unrelated jokes or titles that are misleading (with small room for exception from time to time being tolerable). Remember: a good joke is a good joke, but even the best can be overdone...much less a dumb one like my mrfe title...no matter how stupid his idea is.


As of right now this isn't a rule, and I would like to keep from adding this or anything else to the rules, so please simply respect my wishes so we can avoid making any more rules or being mean poppyheads and closing all of your threads. Now feel free to get back to your other nonsensical antics, serious conversations, or whatever else you use this forum for. And as mom always said Don't play ball in the house Play nice with the other kids...unless the other kid starts a fight, then you gotta kick the other kid's butt.

I'm glad you posted this, because to be honest with you, it's not a good look to have like the majority of the threads in here being stuff that is viewed by most of us as utter nonsense. (no offense)

I mean we are all for you guys having fun in here, but try to limit threads like these to just a few. When it gets to be SEVERAL, that's too much.

Seems like you've come to the same realization though and I'm happy about that.

Jordanv78 : well to be honest it started being too much around thread number three, I just tried to settle it in replies but that wasn't working so I finally decided an announcement was the only way to go.

Honestly I only made the thread that I made to mess around with you and discuss my favorite hobby on Vizzed other than idling and CometChatting, stalking threads :3 (and I did put the actual title in the description :p). Maybe I was the cause of the abundance of xyz is stupid threads by idk encouraging(?) people to make more of them, and I'm sorry if I was :c. It was going overboard and it really should have stopped sooner.
