Hey guys I'm looking for any games or Rom hacks that you think would make a good lets play series on you tube as I am trying to start a Youtube channel I'm looking for either a decently long game with a nice story or a shorter game that could make a short nice little series
also I know this a little off topic and I hope it's ok that I'm adding this but does anyone know any good screen recording soft wares ones that also record voice. Anyway thanks for the help.

I can't really offer advice on recording software but I would recommend picking a somewhat obscure title rather than a really popular one. Anything popular has probably been played to death already.

I'm not a YTber myself, but I've watched a lot of LPs.

Since you're just starting, try to LP shorter games. There won't be as much of a time commitment for a short game like Super Mario World compared to an RPG like Final Fantasy. You'll get experience from doing a shorter game without risking doing something bad (or something bad happening) that may screw up hours of footage for a long game that requires you to play through maybe half an RPG all over again (like a hard drive failure, or video processing error).

You also have to think about how you will play through the game. 100%? Just beating it to the credits? Blind (playing the game without prior knowledge or experience)? And I'm assuming you're also doing commentary. How will you commentate? Like what style? And will you have enough to talk about on a specific game to commentate though the whole thing?

These are just a few things to think about when starting a LP channel.

well there are lots of games to do lets plays of.

I watch a lot of RPGS, war, Sonic and such games that i can't really play.

But I think you should pick a game that you're good at for your first lets play. owo
