So I'd make this thread and beat some other members to it





I usually spend my christmas:

Opening up the gifts, seeing what they are.

Picking up the trash from the papers.. the wrappings around them.

Snacking on what candy I get.

And then spending the rest of the 25th like I normally do chatting with friends, and playing games on my PC.

So how do you like spend your christmas day?

Typically celebrating with my family eating food and talking. Watching Donald Duck and his friends wishes everyone a merry Christmas (which is a special program here in Sweden that is somewhat of a tradition to watch). After that we open the presents, I see what I get though I usually already know about a lot of the gifts, and I watch the others in my family react when they open the presents I got them. Then I typically just spend the rest of the day relaxing doing what I would do on any other day off. If I got any video games, I'll probably try them out as well.

This Christmas will be a bit different though since my mom will be working that day, so it won't exactly be like our traditional celebration but hopefully it should still be a nice day.

Normally every year my parents normally goes to my Grandparent's house to attend Christmas Dinner and I take a couple of presents (I normally get a food gift card, a major gift and a minor gift and that's it) then after that, I head back home and just play video games and eat Cheetos all day long and not caring about the rest of the day.

In later years, we spend the 24th, 25th and 26th away from home (we have something to celebrate all those days), in a house my aunt owns that serves as our reunion spot for its immense size.

Due to this, I spend Christmas day derping around, chatting with my family, watching TV, waste time with my laptop or eating. I don't open the presents until we're back home, normally the night of the 26th, but it's not like I'm hyped for any presents I may get, so I can wait.

As we have celebrations both before and after Christmas, I've never really had any free time to enjoy the day, not even when any of those celebrations was held at home. Maybe it would be different if I saw my family more often, but since that doesn't happen, I really enjoy these few days together, as sometimes it passes more than a year without seeing some of them.

Well I normally spend the half day with my siblings before going to my others cousins house where all of the adults are staying. We don't really stay in one house anymore because of how big our family has gotten. So we have the siblings in one house while for the other the adults stay in. After the half day we get ready to go and meet the parents talk about stuff then eat out Christmas dinner. We also will tend to play games of the sort as well.
