I think that Magikarp is the weakest because it can only know 2 attacks and it does little damage.I am sure that there are others. The cocoon Pokemon are weak too.

Magikarp has 4 attacks it can learn (not including struggle).
Splash, Tackle, Flail and Bounce.
So it can try to be strong.

Even though Magikarp is said to be the weakest Pokémon it's not the weakest as far as base stat average.
Sunkern, Azurill, Kricketot, Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple and Ralts are all weaker.

I would also say the cocoon Pokémon are probally just as weak as Magikarp in some regards.

i think Magikarp is the weakest because splash move is very bad it does nothing at all tackle is sort of ok but it is still a bad pokemon you only catch one to get its evolved form

With Cacoona or Metapod, sure they're weak, but it only takes like 5 levels to evolve them.

I've changed my mind about Magicarp though, at first I thought it sucked, but now after actually evolving one into a Gyarados...it's worth the wait.

My weakest would be Bellsprout, because it has low hp, and doesn't evolve into anything special.

Everyone's been mentioning Magikarp but what about Feebas? Aside from TM/move tutor moves, it's the same as Magikarp. Although I still would pick Feebas over Magikarp because of the way it looks.

I would be inclined to think the cocoon pokémon would be the weakest because if you didn't evolve them from their previous forms, all they'd have would be Harden & they wouldn't be able to attack to get rid of a Pidgey or something pecking them. Their defense would eventually wear down & they'd be bird feed for flying type pokémon.

I would have to agree that either Metapod or Kakuna (when caught that way, not when evolved from Caterpie or Weedle) would have to be the weakest, they aren't even able to deal damage until the PP for Harden runs out... Atleast Magikarp can deal some damage with Tackle..

If you use that untill the enemy only does 1 damage then it's almost like walking on easy street (as long as they know tackle or poison sting). A regular potion would seem like a super potion lol. I don't play the new pokemon games btw.

But you can't use it in a battle so it dosen't really count as a pokemon.

A Silcoon. It only knows harden unless you evolve it from a Wurmple and even then, it still only knows poison sting and tackle. After training it up you're left with a bug/flying which can and will die from a attack from anything.
