Vizzed Video Game Music Channel
I'm in the process of filling up the 'Vizzed Video Game Music' channel on YouTube with video game music

Right now I'm working on adding every song for every Super Nintendo game to the channel. I'm also giving each game its own playlist. You can see my progress and the playlists here:

I'm aiming to be finished with SNES by the time the month ends and then I'll focus on another system. I have a huge collection of songs that I converted from SPC format with special software. I have 30,000+ songs for nearly 1600 different SNES games (which includes foreign games that didn't exist in the USA). The goal is to eventually have every song for every retro game system on there.

This helps out Vizzed because every song has a link to its game page in the description which not only directs the viewers to the site but also directs search engine bots to the site which ultimately ranks those game pages higher on those search engines. Although I wont be able to with some of the songs, most of the songs I'm going to try and monetize and use the money to put toward Vizzed. I wont be monetizing with any pre-load video ads, just the less annoying ads that appear on the video itself which isn't a big deal since the videos don't show much except the title screenshot and a frame graphic that I put together.

Video Game Music on Vizzed
Sometime this month I'll be adding all of these songs to Vizzed as well. Basically it'll be the same songs but hosted on Vizzed with a nice little HTML5 player that you can see here (and those songs wont be at risk of being removed). I'll actually have all of the songs added to Vizzed sooner than I'll have them all uploaded to YouTube since the process is quicker since I have ways to automate it quicker. It'll be loaded with features where you'll be able to add songs to your own playlist and share it with others, listen to custom playlists by others, listen to official playlists, sort through the songs based on rating and views and filter based on all kinds of parameters.

The video game music would have its own section on vizzed but each game page would also have a playlist dedicated to the songs from that game. So for example, if you wanted to listen to the soundtrack of Chrono Trigger, simply go to the Chrono Trigger page and you'd find that little HTML5 player on the page.

This is a direction I've been wanting to take Vizzed for many years now and I'm excited to finally start working on it. My progress will be slow though since other vizzed related stuff takes higher priority but this is a side project that I hope results into me getting 1 complete system of songs added to the site and YouTube per a month.

Davideo7 : that sounds awesome,I'll be sure to sib and like videos,by the way you should have some kind of staff doing that shouldnt you? I meen you work on the site all the time you got staff for a reason.

kirbmanboggle : That's true but this is something I want taken care of sooner rather than later. Usually when I assign things to staff members to take care of things that would take me a few weeks to do it usually takes them a few months to a few years to do. I'm not complaining though because most of them are doing what they do for free which is amazing so I can't expect them to be willing to invest that much time into a single project.

Maybe once I'm done with SNES, then the rest of the songs I could have others help me out with but I want to get the SNES songs uploaded to the YouTube channel right away to get that channel rolling.

Sounds like an awesome idea, although I've run into issues in the past with game music/monitization and that stuff on Youtube. Seems like everyone is making copyright claims on in-game music these days. Especially for popular Nintendo games from popular systems like NES, SNES etc.

Jordanv78 : That most likely will happen for the more popular games and songs and that's fine since this still helps out Vizzed quite a bit. Thankfully I'll have full control over the songs that get uploaded to Vizzed directly.

i just discovered this music on here and i would like to thank you for making it.

This is something I can't wait to see, our own music library with boat loads of songs, I will defiently be using this a lot for most of the older games.
