We all have one artist that we like that the majority either dont like or never heard of lol so since i have a long list of obscure bands, what are yours?
Here is a bit of my list:

Yea, I also listen to practily unkown people. Heres a list...

Savant (guy from the Netherlands, no one I know listens to him)
Down With Webster (they got some songs on the radio and did a small award show, but most people forgot about them now it seems)
Cake (never understood how people don't like this band outside of those two radio songs)
Champion (no one I know listens to them)
The Unsung Heroine (classically trained pianist who does covers of current songs, girls amazing)

TristanTehGamer1 :   I saw Six Feet Under live with Danzig and Disturbed.  I think Corpse Grinder from Cannibal Corpse sings for them now...maybe the other way around. Death has some of the most insane solos out side of Slayer and Pantera. My favorite Death album is Symbolic.  If you like Death, take a listen to some Venom.  Very old school black metal from Venom.  Also, Satyricon's first and second album are great old school black metal.  Do you like the Misfits at all?  They aren't that well known, much like Dead Kennedys.  A lot of the music I listen to isn't "well known" by the general populous.  Old Man's Child is mind blowing.  I love their ILL Natured Spiritual Invasion album as well as their Revelation 666 album

lordbelial669 : Venom is awesome, i never heard of Satyricon i should listen to em, and yes I love the Misfits; 12 Hits From Hell, Static Age, Collection 1 and Walk Among Us are my favorite albums from the band. (Ironically this post about "satanic" music is my 666th post)

I listen to Matthias and I doubt many people heard of him because he's a youtuber who mainly does comedy with songs on the side so even the people that know him might not know about his music but I love most of his songs.

Depends on what you call "obscure" I mean you listed "Dead Kennedys" as obscure, when in reality they are often regarded as one of the best Punk Bands of all time.

They are one of my personal favorite Punk Bands.

Dax Riggs (while he's somewhat known in the underground scene, he's fairly obscure outside of it)
Acid Bath (Dax's old band, but VERY different sound. If you like metal and haven't heard them, look them up right now. Go on...get)
Rx (formally R is for Ritalin, but it was changed for copyright reasons. Experimental industrial. Love them, but not for everyone....)
Portishead (I didn't think they were obscure, yet no one I've talked to seems to have heard of them. Mellow trip hob)
Death (saw you list it, and I really do like that band! Like Dax, they're well know to a certain group but not really outside it)
Samhain (When it comes to Danzig, I prefer Samhain to Misfits. Just personal preference.)

baileyface544 :   I wasn't saying the Misfits are an un heard of band, just asking if he has heard of them or liked them.  They were even on one of those wrestling shows...I hated watching them lose almost every time, but that's Vampiro for you.  They don't have a song I don't like...besides American Nightmare.  I didn't care for that one.  I really like Skulls from their Walk Among Us album, and Descending Angel from their Famous Monsters album.  I liked all of their albums really, but sadly never got to see them live before they broke off.  Oh yeah, they were in the second American Psycho movie.  I think they did their Bruiser song.  I don't remember

Postmodern Jukebox (A youtube channel, not sure if obscure or not) but honestly, I really like their music.
Steam Powered Giraffe is getting more recognition, but it's still kind of obscure, and they're amazing.
The L-Train is an absolute musical genius as well.

Does anyone else love the satisfaction of seeing one of your favourite obscure artists make it huge? I was really happy to see Sia's latest album blow up massively. She's so talented and has been making music for many years, she deserves it.

Here's my list. Some of these artists are definitely more obscure than others. Some of them have music videos with a million or so views, but the rest of their discographies mostly go unheard, which is a huge shame.
