So, as a guy who is actually really into looking through sports logos for some reason (even for sports I don't even follow), I decided to make a thread based on logos and jerseys/uniforms. It can be any logo/uniform in any team's history that you can find from practically any sport. Just rate it and maybe give like a sentence explanation of your thoughts.

Since basketball is probably my #1 sport, I'll start with a very recently created logo for the Charlotte Hornets.

Sports logos are neat to look at and really study, if you want to use that verb.  There was a column called Uni Watch my friend followed on espn.com or some other sports website that really focused on what was important to good uniforms.

I'll rate the new Charlotte team a 6 of 10.  

Why didn't it get a good score?

1.  Color - The color schemes for teams should be able to be drawn from the 36 pack of crayons you get at the store.  Teams come out with the teals, the fancy burnt oranges, all the colors that are not red, blue, white, black, green, yellow, etc.  They want something to stand out.  But if a kid can't draw the logo, it's not a good logo.

2.  Simplicity - No one could sit there and color an Atlanta Thrashers logo.  So it's a bad logo.  The N.Y. Islanders (I liked them better as L.I. Islanders) had that Gordon Fisherman guy and no one could draw that either.  New Jersey Devils?  you can draw that.  St. Louis Blues?  You can draw that.  You can't really sketch a Hornets logo on a sheet of paper.

3.  It's also new and everyone's changing the logos around.  A logo is awesome when it's the same thing year after year to establish the dynasty of that league.  The Texas Longhorns haven't changed anything in forever because they don't need to.  That's an awesome logo.

Uh, there's like 10 different logos there.

I'll do the first one and I give it a 6/10 because the colors and how the name looks just isn't all that appealing.

The four-leaf clover looks nice and "Celtic", but the logo in itself looks... naked. I give it 6 out of 10.

It's a classic but it's a little boring and there's really nothing special about it imo and I'm a Wings fan but I'll give it a 6 or a 7

It might just be me, but it's really plain and just unappealing. The two kits are really similar and don't really distinguish from each other much. Not to mention, but they don't have much color variation, just the same thing throughout. I don't wanna insult your team or anything, but it's nothing special. 5/10.

Oats : Hmmmmm I'll say 6.5/10. It's not over the top, and I'll admit a bit fond of it. But in a way it almost clashes.
