It has come to my attention that game stop will carry wiis with a controller, nunchuck, mario galaxy, and wii sports all for $60 each.
I am considering purchasing one or few of these to give to unfortunate people who do not own a game console. Is this a good idea? Should other people do the same? I don't know, but I am sure a few kids will be very happy to experience the Wii's magnificence for the first time this Christmas and I will help with that in any way I can.

If someone has that kind of money, then that's a great idea, especially around Christmas time but it would be kind of hard to specifically find these kinds of people unless you donate them to a specific charity

If you know someone who would appreciate it, do it. There are tons of classics for the Wii, and it's one of the cheapest consoles on the market today. Tons of games to catch up on.
