I am a fan of the show. I think it's funny that they chose Underwood to be a Democrat. Aren't they supposed to be for the "good" of "the people"?! I can't wait for season 4 to finally start which, according to a friend, will be the last one - a deck of card had 52 cards...

It sort of lost me after that first scene with the dog. Don't get me wrong that didn't stop me from watching it. I just have a soft spot for animal. In general the show had a hard time keeping my interest. kind of weird that the part I liked the least happened to be the most interesting I have to admit it was good symbolism.

I've seen the first two seasons by I admittedly lost interest during S2, and I have never gotten around to seeing S3. The storylines didn't seem to interest me as much, and S2 had a lack of genuinely likable characters, which made the whole thing less relatable as a whole for me.
