Start of game, First Cave and Time Travel tips: Here's a tip...make sure your name character GETS DEFEATED in EVERY team battle he is in and use the supplies deck command to make up for the loss of cash. This would mean that when you get pulse you are level 1 and then when he gets leveled up and skills unlocked a little bit later he will be lvl2. This WILL make the starting part a bit harder but is well worth it. Also note that in the first fight with Leviathe all you have to do is hit her with a weapon. The Laser M Gun gotten from a chest in  a town early on is a good choice, just fire at her and if it hits that battle ends. Remember, make sure you're character's Zoid GETS DESTROYED EVERY BATTLE UNTIL BIT LEAVES YOU AFTER THE ARENA BATTLE WITH LEVIATHE. He'll be lvl1 and Pulse will end up one level higher after you travel towards the north, meaning your organoid will be one level stronger than you, rather than one level lower

the first cave near where you get pulse leads to an area with red horns, Zaber fangs, gordos, Gojulas, and other useful Zoids, don't bother getting the Shield LigerDCS data, it is given to you in a chest in the town after pulse gets his ZOS ability unlocked, DO use the Core gather command though to get DCS units to upgrade your ligers. This is also a great area to level up and if you get Zan to 13 he can pilot a gojulas, which has a lot of health and armor points.

After you travel back in time, not that Dark Horns spawn, they're rare and there are redlers and redler BCs in the group but if you can get their (Dark Horn) data it will be useful well into mid game. I'd also like to point out that the makers should have made flying zoids a bit more usable, since you don't really get any good ones till very late in the game, and then the Blooder isn't a good choice so you might as well use StormSworder FX's when you eventually get them. Also available are Zaber Fang ATs. I usually go for the DarkHorns and have a couple of them in my party with the DA (Dual Arms) Lizard, now available if you beat the challanges to level 4, a Gojulas due to grinding earlier, a pair of SL (Shield Liger) DCS. You could Use Zaber Fang ATs instead if you wanted. But if you get the Zaber fang RS (raven's) You will need regular ZF's, not the OLD type or AT. Also grinding is good to do here because the sets of three Iron Kongs are good cash sources and some other sets are easily destroyed in one turn.

General Tips; Now is when you start improving your Generator Output and gun strength, also note that every fight one increases a Zoid's TP by one so if you want you can go back to the start and kill molgas until they are maxed but TPs and improvements reset to 0 after upgrading a Zoid to the next type so be careful. No point in upgrading too much. I'll also have tips for later on in the game. Also remember to explore everywhere. I missed the first cave first time I played and the second time it made the game much easier. The Dark Horn's gatling can be gotten up to 210 damage and the cannons to 330. Only the elephander later on after you get the Hover Cargo has more potential for a while other than the LR cannons of the Gojulas gunner at 350 and 380 max damage. Another not that IP counts more than Speed. A Gojulas Giga Cannon or gojulas the Ogre, Elephander, and gojulox have the potential to attack before all but the best flying Zoids.
