DISCLAIMER: THIS THREAD ISN'T MEANT TO PROMOTE OR ENCOURAGE CHEATING IN ANY WAY. THIS THREAD IS JUST TO SHARE FUNNY STORIES OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE CHEATED OR TRIED TO.

Throughout our scholar life, at one point or another, we all have known the story of someone who cheated during an exam (or even AFTER it). At the time it happened, it wasn't a pleasant story to hear, since cheating isn't the way to go, but as years pass and you grow up to cherish the memories from the (not so distant) past, those experiences turn into a fun story to share.

This thread is the place where you can share those stories. No need to say names or specify who the cheater was, in the case you were the cheater and prefer to remain anonymous from the matter, the point is to share a funny story.

So, let's begin the storytelling!

I remember back in 2008 when me and a friend of mine missed an exam, so we had to do it in a different day. It finally happened during a PE class. As our main classroom was left empty because of everyone heading to the gym (located in the basement of our building to save up space), we stayed there and received our exams. To our surprise, no teacher remained with us, and the temptation was just too big to ignore it.

About halfway during the exam, a teacher did arrive, which thwarted our hopes. Luckily, he was a very easygoing teacher, and since we were two of the few students that didn't misbehave in class, my friend asked him if he would say something about us cheating. I laughed at his request, but laughed even more when the teacher, with a timid smile, understood we were doing it until he arrived, and thus he acted like if he wasn't there nor seeing us. At that point, I think I had even more material over my desk than during the class itself

The exam was for Social Science, if I remember well. I didn't fare well in that subject, and I don't remember my friend excelling at it either. We did excel at that exam, though, while everyone strived to pass it. Of course, the secret of our success was the extended period of preparation we had

That's too funny. My teachers were like that too, but not when it came to testing. Oh ho, no. Anyways!

I was always terrified to cheat, mostly because my parents are strict with schooling and they know I usually break the rules at home (whether it's stealing candy or annoying my siblings). However, I did cheat on a STAR-Testing exam in 6th grade. There was a lot kids in the room-- we were seated side-by-side, squished together. There was only a teacher and the teacher's assistant. While taking the exam, I acted like I was trying to understand the questions by re-reading them. Then, when I wasn't in their line of site, I would answer the same choice as the person next to me. I did this by looking at the corner of my eye, so it wasn't suspicious.

Later, when I got my results. I got a score that was equivalent to a C-. Thankfully, my parents weren't too angry when I told them I cheated.
