Well, my posting spree yesterday was a big fail since I only got one point, and it wasn't even in blue!

I knew I'd get bumped out of the blue jersey since I couldn't stay up too late and apparently everyone else could! Today I might not have that much time to post either, but I'll once again give it a shot. I'm not just doing this for the TdV, I'm in a hurry to get 10,000 posts before I might have to leave vizzed in 2 or 3 years. I'm already getting so busy now, even on the weekends

Skilledtree does it again: 3 Jerseys + a 7 pointer!

Woot! I'm kind of, well not really. I'm extremely happy that I was able to land more than a few jersey's this TdV! It's the first one I've done, so it's nice to know I am actually able to keep up with the big dogs! Now, I must securely try to stay in at least the top 5 overall for the end.

Which jersey is worth 7 points? Is it the CP jersey?

Skilledtree : Congrats on your success so far. I think the one you got 7 points for was yellow. If you more than double the next highest score you get extra.

Skilledtree : You've been doing an amazing job so far! 3 jerseys for 2 consecutive days is really impressive in my opinion. It makes me very excited to see such serious competitors play fairly and make excellent quality posts. Nice jobs on hitting 10,000 words for the yellow jersey yesterday

Skilledtree : If any time you get first place and you more than double the points of 2nd place, you get 7 points instead of 5.

PacmanandMariofan : Thanks! I knew I wouldn't be able to win any of the other 3 jerseys yesterday (guess I could've won red if I really wanted to), so I focused my attention on green and somehow I got it. It felt great to get my 5th green jersey ever.

Skilledtree: You're welcome It's a good idea to just focus on one jersey, that way you have more of a chance of winning the jersey and being able to keep it on your username for a month! I definitely know how the red jersey can be. I've competed for it multiple times, and I literally had to make reviews, as well as many other CP actions, just to score.

gamerforlifeforever2 : No problem! I'm surprised it's only your 5th green jersey, I thought you would've gotten more than that by now.

PacmanandMariofan : Nope, the Summer TDV was especially brutal in the green department since it seemed like everyday people were gettting 500+ actions in, which is just insane.

gamerforlifeforever2 : Yeah, but keep in mind summertime "Teh Kids were free"

So More staff and more members were constantly putting out Contribution Points, mainly because they have the time to.

I'd put out CP but I used to review games, there's only so few titles now I can review to get that stuff up.


As for the TDV in october, it's nice to see skillled tree giving this thing some competition. For the first week or so, I thought this whole thing was gonna be one sided due to lack of member participation.


I could've had the blue jersey that one day, but school and other life timing can't help me post up to 12 am unlike some of you can(Even if I do have that free time, that's just insane.)

That really was a struggle last night for me to get points. I was just going to sit back and not do anything but with like 30 minutes left I realized how close I really was so I decided to go for it. It I had realized just 10 minutes earlier I could have easily gotten an extra point for blue but I'm happy with what I got.

PacmanandMariofan : Yeah, I realize that it's pretty hard to try and make sure you can win more than one. It's easier to just focus on one, and kind of hope that you can do well enough. I already type huge posts normally, so the word one is the one I want to keep going after.

Skilledtree : Grats on those point gainers on 3 jerseys for the second time in a row! It can get a bit tough to have the motivation to post and win those jerseys more than once. I've been in your shoes and I give you props for getting more jerseys. I never got a red jersey since I feel like that's a tough jersey to get and as for the green jersey, I still don't know to get points for it.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on what the people who gain massive points in green do so I can try and at least place 5th on those too. I noticed they usually are in the Video Game Room, or in some cases they pump out screenshots. I know I saw gamer's green points start soaring when he was adding game characters in the VGR, so I assume that the two main ways of getting points is through adding stuff through there and adding screenshots.

I'm still gathering intel though so I can use it myself on the next TdV (I may have just exposed the possible secrets to getting a lot of points there, who knows).

And thanks! I wasn't even going to try for all 3 today, but the numbers were really low. I was like "Heck, I got another shot after all!"

Well, my streak of having over 10 points per day this TDV has ended. My streak of having AT LEAST 10 points per day still lives on though.

If Ferdinand hadn't decided to start going for green at the end of the day, I probably would've gotten a last second red jersey.
