My friend's Sweet 16 is coming up and I have no idea what to get her. Most of my friends said that they usually just give gift cards or cash but I feel like a Sweet 16 gift should be more personal than that, especially since I am really good friends with this girl, not just casual friends. Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking some kind of jewelery but I don't know anything about jewelery, I don't want to spend TOO too much, and I don't know if she'll thinks it's "appropriate" (for lack of a better word). I feel like jewelery is more of a girl to girl or bf to gf type of thing and as much as I would like to be the bf, I know she isn't interested in that, so I don't know if giving her jewelery might make her uncomfortable.

Anyone have any suggestions? (Especially any girls?) Because I have absolutely no idea what to get her.

Does your friend drink tea, or does she drink coffee? Does she read books or watch T.V.? Is she a gamer, or does she think low of gamers? Get her something you know she'll enjoy. Well if you are really close with this person, I would highly suggest AGAINST getting cash or gift cards, unless thats what they really asked for.
