Hello everyone! Today I'm here to discuss the overall opinions I have on games. This will be a open discussion for this material, and I hope to do more in the future. Anyways, today I'll opinionating on specifically Pokémon as to whether or not I enjoy the main series or spin-offs more. So, without further ado, let's get started.
So let's start with the main series. Pokémon was released in Japan in 1996 with Red and Green versions and then released it to other countries starting in 1998 with Red and Blue versions. As time progressed, we saw progress in the games as well as official online competitions and world championships happening with the main series AND obtaining certain events through specific means. From battling gym leaders to catching them all, the main series has had some great stuff for all to play.
Now for the spin-offs. In my personal opinion, the only spin-off games that I see some future potential in are Pokémon Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness. These two games show a completely different side of the series considering there are no gym battles as well as the fact that these games were created by Genius Sonority, which, by the way, is not the usual company that's been making the entire series, Game Freak. However, the games show a lot more potential than all other spin-offs in the series, but that's just my opinion.
So which side do I choose? Obviously the main series, considering I'm always playing Pokémon X and Y and ORAS all the time and that I enjoy playing all other game in the main series as well.
So now I leave you, the reader, to discuss this subject amongst yourself and others around you about how you feel about the Pokémon series. And I will send off with this one simple question: Pokémon: Main series or Spin-offs? See you guys later with a new topic!
