Today I went on Facebook and I saw that my friend posted that she's single again. She wants nothing to do with another relationship for a while and she's moving on. It was because her boyfriend screwed up. I commented on her post a joke and then a point that hopefully she appreciated: "You can still be friends with us dudes right? Some of us are innocent..." and told her to please not get the wrong idea by me commenting on that post.

Since she's been my best friend for over a year now, I feel like I really should say something next time we meet to make her feel better (in case she hasn't really moved on yet). (Edit: By the way we'll likely meet on Sunday night, so pretty soon.) But I'm having trouble thinking of something good to say.

So far I'm thinking it should be something about how I can understand how guys can be sometimes. (Most of the guys I know in school don't make wise decisions and don't take their relationships seriously) And whether I'll say that or not I'll ask her if she saw my comment on her post, if she doesn't already let me know she saw it.

I'll probably only say it if she doesn't seem as happy as she usually is. This whole thing is making me very nervous, especially since I'm a guy... my heart has been racing ever since I saw her Facebook post.

Please pray for me and her.

Local Mods : Since it's been over a week since the events mentioned in this thread happened, please close this. I thought I would see my friend sooner, but I couldn't. I should try to forget about this anyway, she's probably trying to.
