Anyway, now that that's out of the way, I can tell you guys about MY least favorite moment (which I saw just now).

So, there's these three good guys, ok? They're not the main characters, but whatever. Good Guy #1 gets killed by a bad guy. Then Good Guy #2 gets killed by Good Guy #3 BECAUSE HE THOUGHT SHE KILLED GOOD GUY #1 AND UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGHHHHH

I once hated the moment in Pokemon X/Y when

you have to press a button to advance the story.  It seemed kinda...messed up.  Press the wrong button, and you're the bad guy.  Press the right one, and the bad guys still activate the powerful machine. So either way, it seems to be a lose/lose.
 I dunno, though.  It can be difficult to weigh the morals of Pokemon.  I mean, they fight to get stronger.  And they use super powerful attacks that would seemingly kill things in real life.  Matthew Taranto put it well in his "Brawl in the Family" comic:



The Pokemon world is apparently different from our own.  It's definitely not to be taken very seriously.

I really hate when there's forced relationship drama about halfway or so through the movie. Just something to slow the plot down, and keep us from all the cool moments. If I wanted to watch a soap opera as good as The Room I'd just watch that. Now get out of my action movie!

I hate it when the oh-so-forgetful protagonist somehow "forgot" to bring along his phone with him just after texting/calling and placed it on the table, very visible and accessible for the villain. The villain would then be free to do whatever he likes with the phone, maybe to text something nasty to the protagonist's girlfriend to make them quarrel? Or maybe text her to go somewhere so he can kidnap her? *shrugs*

A couple examples come to mind, but in general, I HATE when they suddenly introduce a love triangle into the story. So much useless drama that doesn't add anything to the plot, and you basically know who's going to end up together anyways, so it's even more useless. It's such a tired and overused plot device that I really wish books/movies/videogames would stop using.

This happens in SO many movies and games, it's annoying to me. When the two characters are looking for each other, and one passes by the screen, then, after they have left the screen, the other person walks in the same spot, missing each other by a few seconds. Always drives me crazy.

    I also hate most car chase scenes. If the story is still being advanced, that's fine, but I was watching one of the Bourne movies, Supremacy, I think, and there was this car chase scene that lasted, like, 20 minutes and I was falling asleep. Basically, after 20-30 minutes of car chasing, they still didn't catch him. They should have just showed Jason drive his car to the next plot device, that would have saved so much time. Action isn't always interesting.

A running trend I see that I hate is how there's often a story about sacrifice, like a character dying early on in a video game only for it to comeback towards the end after the good guy "wins". It's a cliche I hate, what's the point of having something like that in it if they can just magically be revived later in the game/movie etc. Or really just people being able to be magically revived in a game at all, takes all the sense of risk and impact out of a game for me.

When a girl decided to fall for the "bad guy", although he's really completely a jerk and the "good guy" is actually a nice person.

How about when it "seems" like the good guy has died, but then, in a dramatic conclusion, isn't and saves the day. It's just way to predictable and boring for my liking. I mean, if it's done really well, it's fine, but not about 75% of the time.
