I really don't know why you praise this game.

I really don't.

Five Nights at Freddy's is a horror game released by Scott Cawthon in 2014, the game
went viral and it soon became the most popular game in the world.

This game is awful.

The story goes that the Fredbear Entertainment is a place for children and adults
can enjoy entertainment and food in the day, but in the night the animatronics come
out and like to stuff humans into suits. You, Jeremy, have to work the night shifts and
watch over the animatronics from 12 - 6 PM. That's basically how the first two games
roll. The Bite of 87 is mentioned briefly, but really, who wants to hear a story about a kid
who's frontal lobe was bitten off? It was a stupid plot line that was only there to extend the
story just a little so it makes the game actually scary. Overall, the story isn't bad, it's unique
at its best, but extra plot lines like that (and some of the others too!) don't make the
story great, they just cause chaos for the player actually trying to play the game who is thinking,
"Ummm, okay? I don't get this story!". But still, the overall basic storyline is unique and it is quite
pleasing that he tries to differ from other games.

Gameplay? What, you call pressing a few buttons gameplay? Come on Scott, you can do better
than that! Anyways, the goal is to avoid the animatronics and try to survive the night, it sounds
simple, but the way it's laid out means that it's more of a challenge than it actually is, oh, and you
have better read or seen a tutorial online before hand, because they throw you straight into the action,
Phone Guy's attempt at explaining the game are laughably horrific, and you might not even survive til
1AM without re-trying 100s of times. Back to the gameplay, the main thing is the torch and the monitor,
the torch you can use to flash in the hallway to see if any animatronics are there, if Fpxy shows, simply
flash your light at him a few times and he will soon go away, any other animatronic shows up then make
sure to put the Mask/Head on or your screwed. if any one appears in the vents, repeat the same procedure.
As you play through the night, the puppets song may start to wind down, at this point, open the monitor and press
and hold the button to wind it back up. Also with the.... your starting to take this in? Good, me neither. With the
monitor, you can look through all the cameras to see where the animatronics are. That's the end of the gameplay,
while it may seem simple (It is, I just made it sound hard) the game is very hard, and this is due to lousy game
programming, rather than genuine hard. If this game was programmed logically, the game wouldn't be easy,
but certainly not as hard as it is. The game is hard because of it being unfair due to a number of different things,
like reaction times, the puppets time in which will jump scare you. Also failing to do any of the gameplay things
at the time will mean that you receive a fabulous present, a jumpscare.

Is it addictive? Hell no! You'll beat the first five nights and you'll never want to play this game again! And that
also leads us to Depth, this game has nothing to do after the first 6 nights, except for the bonus Custom Night
mode, and even that loses it's grip after awhile, overall the game has no addictiveness or depth at all.

Sound? Sound? Sound? Oh, the music is quite catchy! Moving on!

So, that's it, that's the entire freaking game. I'm serious, that's it. It's a crap invested joke that Scott Cawthon has
released, and no, he's not a terrible developer, this game wasn't a good game. And don't any of you dare
try and defend this! No, my review has set it straight. There is nothing good about this game.

I've never understood why so many people love Five Nights at Freddy's either. One of my friends even tried to get me to play it, and right after he forced me to play it and he dropped the phone into my hands, I got jumpscared. I was done after that, and I told him to pick something else to do.

Anyway, this review is pretty good. The spacing is weird, so I'm guessing you pasted it into a post from a document on your computer. Next time you should fix the spacing so it's much easier to read.

You did a great job of covering some of the categories, but you should cover them all. Also, you should insert your rating of each category into your post. Good job, though, and keep it up!

I had mentioned this in another post, but I have played the first two game and I can never get past the third night because I'm dead bored. I actually start wasting power just get it over with, and even that takes too long. Once you get that first jump scare, you know exactly when it's going happen the next time, or the next time, or the next time, etc...

My niece had told me that FNAF was the scariest game she had ever played. I was genuinely furious. So I showed her Haunting Grounds for the PS2, and changed her statement. I'm a good aunt.

F. Starr : Good aunt? I beg to differ ma'am... You are an incredible aunt! xD You showed that poor misguided child the error of her ways. lol

I realize this review was something of a rant mixed with a review, but THANK YOU!!! lol I have been wanting to hear this for so long, that is, someone criticizing the game, or at least not praising it. There's so much I don't understand here. Like why you keep working at this place...or why this place is still open even...and so much more. Maybe there's a reason, I don't know.

Anyway, way to differ with the in crowd opinion. Good job on that.

Like Eirinn, I'm glad that this game's finally getting the criticism it deserves. It's easily one of the most overrated video games of all time. Thank you for that.  I think you did really good job explaining why you think this game is so bad. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.

I never even played this game, but I think you convinced me NOT to play it! Although I usually prefer comparisons with other games, you gave ample details as to why the game sucks that it proved futile. I hope you play another terrible game so I can read your review!

PS : You look like you copied and pasted from Word. Did you know you can paste the text AND have a more "normal" formatting by pressing the Word button in your post?

Great review! I agree with almost everything down to the letter! x3 Although if you ask me, there is no real story. It's all ambiguous as heck. And while some view it as "artsy". I view it as just lazy. It's just lazy writing. Oh wait, you need to WRITE SOMETHING FIRST!

This series is so overhyped, and I have no idea why. It's not scary, interesting, entertaining, and I've played flash games made in 2007 that had more depth than this!

F. Starr : I'd say you're an amazing aunt for doing that! xD
