Have you ever wanted to look back at any of the posts you made in the past? It can be any type of post (regular post, review, walkthrough, article, etc.). Why, or why not?

If you have, what types of posts have you looked back to? For me, I've done that many times, but not recently. I've looked at several of my old reviews, which weren't so good XD I've also looked at some of my old regular posts/threads, and a short game guide I made about how to perform a cool glitch I discovered.

Some of them are still being posted in today (And I mean literally today. My SM64 or SM64DS thread was posted in today. )

Oh boy. Nothing like looking at my posts that I made when I was like 14 years old. I don't even recognize myself when I read most of my very old posts. Half of my posts are just spammy and pointless at that time and I just sound so weird back then. I changed a lot. I slowly began to change as some time went by while I was a trusted member. My posts were decent when I was a 15 year old trusted member (though still somewhat spammy at that time). 

I also happen to read my old reviews I made when I find them featured for a game that I enjoy to play sometimes. (Especially sonic hacks lol)

I feel that if I looked back at my earlier posts on the site it would be slightly different to how I type now.. And it would probably make people think that I was a different person at the time. I mean I used to be funny, enthusiastic and most importantly nice x3... But then again that was before I really started to care more about the quality side of the site.. I mean I'd consider myself as a decent member from the start but it's just that I've had a lot of experience in the last 5 years and well. My cynicism and brutal honesty has pretty much grown a lot since then... 

Meh.. Maybe it'll be worth looking at them again one day.. Mainly for a laugh and to see how far my post quality has increased

Yup, sometimes I look back at my poor posts. It's fun but sometimes embarrassing.

I can say this: my current posts are way better than my old posts. I literally used a cap for almost each new word and wrote crappy reviews. My posts started to get decent when I became a Site Staff. Sometimes I also like to look back at old PMs, those were stupid as well.

But yeah, even someone with poor posts as a normal/Trusted member can become a Site Staff/Vizzed Elite. So don't give up!

I was basically one of those stereotypical idiot members, that you think about when you think of someone spammy, overabusing caps and exclamation marks. And often making threads in the wrong forums (sowwy globals).

I know that my current posts are better than my old ones. Back than I use to add a lot of smileys and add " lol " at the end of a sentence a little too much. They really made my posts look childish.

But I sometimes look back at my introduction posts on forums (my first posts on the forum), just so I can see what I was like back then, and check who actually responded and if those people have stuck around. I also check back on any reviews I did or any other stuff like that. But other than that, I don't look back.
