This is not an attack on the mods or any particular users. If you think this stop reading now, I would very much prefer it and make a cup of coffee or tea etc. put your feet up and play a game etc. and don't worry about me and what you think I may be thinking as it will be wrong and you wasted your time by reading on and could have been enjoying a nice warm beverage instead of thinking incorrect things about me. I am not that important, believe me and nobody really cares what I have to say.If you have read this far then however, and have not got any ill intentions then I would like to know your thoughts on the recent trend to summon mods extremely quickly in threads and why the newbies, and this is meant without any disrespect at all in any way, I am just using the term as that is what they are referred to next to the spelling button feel it appropriate to summon mods immediately to any tread they feel inappropriate, are they trying to score brownie points and get themselves more rapidly promoted and recognised. I wonder even how you earn trust points these day I used to have dozens but now own a pitiful amount and no none gives them to me. But anyways this thread is not about that it is about summoning mods. I do not think it is the trusted members an above who are doing this, I have been on Vizzed now for a very long time and it was a very very very different place then and I cannot but help but miss the passing of the retro toon room and the mistake I felt it was to create user rooms which fractured and split Vizzed up into camps. Maybe I just never understood it however, or no one ever explained it to me properly. So again this is no attack or spitting anger or venom at anyone nor is it a rant. In fact if anyone has read this far and still thinks that then I despair as I am genuinely trying to understand what is going on here and learn a little bit more about a place I used to feel was home but is now becoming gentrified and up and coming and the new hipsters are discriminating against us poorer less cultured types by subverting the status quo with their indulging of hegemonic gratification in satisfying everyone of their ascetic pleasures. For those that transgress this new norm are subject o a new form of insidious symbolic violence and the polemic repressive apparatus keeps us in check with a new discourse of doing everything in the name of equality for all while institutionally discriminating the cosmopolitanism that helped to create it very fracture self as if the totemic pole was beheaded and a new flag was put in its place.
